Even if he does come up big, Jets defense needs to play bigger than they did in the second half. The Colts moved the ball at will against them.

Strikes me of more of the same. Sam keeps it together, no need to panic. OL does enough to help but a dominant performance will give even more confidence to D. DL still needs to step up as rest of D are doing ok.

    But we're getting there...

I was at the game yesterday, and legit had no idea Maye and Q were hurt until this AM. I blame that on alcohol lol which is my own fault. But yeah, had no clue.

With Maye out 3-4 weeks, and Q apparently has a high ankle sprain, I think we'll have to look for Pryor and Kearse to be involved heavily.

Ugh, if it is a high ankle sprain, that's bad. See Curtis Martin.

The Jets can win this game and I don't think the Vikes are sooo much more talented than the Jets.

Agree wholeheartedly. I feel like the JETS are going to give MIN the same business BUF gave them.
Hopefully the Jets can continue to get takeaways. Not sure what the statistics are but whoever wins the turnover battle has a high chance at winning the game.

The Vikings just made the NFC championship game. They’re better than us.

Maybe we can steal one, but I do think they have significantly more talent.

Yeah, no one will ever be able to explain that Bills game. Crazy. The Jets have a chance, but it will be tough. Losing Maye and Enunwa just made it even tougher.

We are 3 point dogs at home. In point differential the Jets are +26, the Vikes -8. Our defense has given up less points and our offense has scored more points through the first 6. We have a puncher's chance, especially at home.
We need to figure out a way to slow down the no huddle offense - it's been our achilles heel on defense and it's only a matter of time until teams just come out firing and run us into the ground with the hurry-up.

Well, Kacy has been medically cleared to come back to work so we should see the difference in our D this week.

Prayers for Enunwa. Hopefully this will continue to force Bates to be creative in using all our weapons and not just target Q. I feel our O can still function w/o him. Maye’s absence on the defensive end worries me. He’s such a powerful force especially with most of our starting DBs hurt.

    Praying for our JETS!

Such a huge advantage for an experienced QB with the pass defense rules the way they are. Our pass rush isn't that great even when we CAN rotate fresh guys in. Crossing my fingers that Adams can whip up some havoc.

    Darnold and 15 years, really?

Back to the game, the key for the Jets is to limit Adam Thielen's production. If you can take him away as an option, you may force Cousins into interceptions since Thielen is his safety net. Besides do we want to see Thielen's TD dance?

The Jets need to continue establishing the run and keeping Darnold's exposure low. The Rams this week ran for over 200 yards against the Broncos, perhaps the Jets have exposed the Bronco's run defense.

The Jets have given the ball away to often this year, but the good news is they are taking the ball away more. The Vikings are vulnerable to fumbles and the Jets can sucker Cousins into interceptions.

I think this game is very winnable for the Jets but also very losable. Their run defense will also be challenged and I will be very disappointed in it doesn't do its job.

The spread right now is Vikings -3 so it appears people are expecting a close game.

Well guys..the cupcake schedule is over..heheh

Time to face the big time Vikings

Posters here must be torn rooting for their FA savior Capt Kirk or the newly minted Sam..how strange

I am waiting for those halftime adjustments by Kacy/Bowles...lmao

A win by Sam will make him a true gunslinger to outshoot Cousins

The Bills pass rush is much better than Jets. That’s the reason they had such a great game against the Vikes. They had Cousins running for his life and put a stop to the running game.

If Jets really want to win this game, they need to score TDS in the red zone. I like that they are starting to build chemistry on offense and move the ball better between the 20.

However RZ scores for TD is a must, not going to beat Vikes with FG.
