The Jets haven't won 2 games in a row @ home since 2011. Since when did they win three in a row at home? I'm a thinkin', I'm a thinkin' - and my head hurts, too.
jets need to become more conservative. Darnold should not be throwing 30+ times a game when he is completing under 60% of his passes and turning it over a ton. ground and pound
Pretty sure the run game wasn't effective yesterday. Did you even watch the game? He was very good outside that 1 pass.
24-30, 280 yards, 2TD, 1INT What inaccuracy are you talking about? He was 80% accurate yesterday with 113.9 rating.
This will be a good challenge for Darnold going up against that D. I think the Jets have a shot here as the Vikings have been up and down. They go into Philly and beat the Eagles but get killed at home to the Bills 27-6. It would a huge game for the Jets to win. Win three straight and get to 4-3 with momentum.
Colts game cost us some players: Maye, Quincy and even Pryor all got hurt to some degree. Need to get some bodies back against a much more talented Vikings team.
I don't see how we stop the Vikes from scoring and there is a good chance they get Cook back. We won't win this one,,I would be shocked if we did
We are going from a group of receivers that could not catch a ball to facing the best WR tandem in football. If we play the Vikings like we did that Colts this is going to be ugly.
They're a much better over all team and it's not close. It's a road game against a none conference opponent. We have to win the turnover battle and hope they are a little flat. This is a no contest based on overall talent.
Vikings lost of their promising corners yesterday to a knee injury in Mike Hughes, they don't have one of their top pass-rushers, though Danielle Hunter looks to be making plays as of late. I think the Jets could attack the linebackers, I would really start thinking about using Powell more in the passing game. Vikings line is really bad as well, Jets pass rush might be able to make a play or 2. However, I don't see how the Jets win this game especially without Maye potentially and Tru Johnson.
I'm just hoping that we play a hard fought game without any dumb penalties. Not expecting a win because the Vikings have far more talent than we do, but I'd be disappointed if we aren't even competitive given that it's a home game and Darnold has shown a lot of progress.
Hopefully Dalvin Cook will sit this week too. Having to defend both WRs is going to be tough if we have to also allocate resources to Cook in the passing game
Going through the upcoming schedule and this game is so pivotal. If they can get to 4-3, it’s very realistic to hit the bye and Pats game at 6-4. If they lose the scenarios get much tougher.
