I will furiously masturbate wearing my sam darnold jersey.......As soon as i get home. Somebody send the offensive highlights to my computer please.
Excellent win. Sam played well, we managed the lead and our special team executed beautifully. The team looked rocked at 1 and 3. The team has shown some grit and solid play to get back to 500.
A win is a win- no argument with the RECORD If they play like today they will not win many more Same mistakes Same issues All self inflicted
The most important thing about today’s win is Sam the man! He was awesome on 3rd down, the 2 minute drill, play rec. Everything about today’s performance validates he is ready to start in NFL
half our secondary was hurt and we still won yet I'm sure a lot of this fan base will still bitch...…..mostly about Bowles.
2018 NFL Season Week 6: Jets vs. Colts. Post by: Brook!, 12 minutes ago in forum: Game Threads Bates certainly has head scratching calls sometimes; he has a tendency of getting too cute. However, many of the stuff you guys were complaining about we poorly executed plays that did not fall in that category.
Okay legler. You win. We scored over 40 points thanks to Bates. But give us a break a little for some in game head scratching calls. Now tell us about Darnold. You owe us a very lengthy Darnold analysis for the first 6 weeks of the season. What did you like about him? Did you see what you expected of him?
If we play like today, we'll have some more wins and some more frustrating losses. Sign of a young, cheap team with a lot of potential but also with sloppy drafting and coaching.
2018 NFL Season Week 6: Jets vs. Colts. Post by: JdotGriff, 16 minutes ago in forum: Game Threads That's only because most of his touches are down the field with very few defenders around as they should be. It takes a different type of receiver to work the shallow and middle parts of the field. I'd love to know what his % of fumbles in those heavy traffic areas. Catching a onside kick is like going across the middle but on steroids. Don't question what I know or don't know.
Our New York Jets scored at least twice in every quarter. Seriously, when's the last time that happened? Has it EVER happened?
Darnold is better than I expected at this point. I expected a lot more bonehead INTs because of his youth, general lack of experience and style of play. Sorry to do it but I have to give some credit to Bates and Bowles for how they are managing him.
So what was the problem in the 2nd half with all the sloppy tackling? We looked like the Broncos did last week.
