Real good points. He's just the only guy on the staff I really have faith in to turn in a good game when he absolutely has to, and he should have plenty of bullets in the holster with the short outing and ample rest. If he doesn't have it, the bullpen relay gets going before the game gets out of hand. Kind of like last year's WC game. I just don't see him as likely to come up small as Severino or Tanaka.

Tough loss, but an optimistic loss, if that makes sense. The Yankees looked like the better team after the first couple innings. As some posters said: Stanton was a HUGE disappointment tonight. He is paid to come up big in those spots, and he was the complete opposite. Can't use lack of playoff experience as an excuse. Still, I am confident the Yankees can pull this off. Obviously Game 2 is huge. Can't expect to go down 0-2 like the Indians series last year and win.
