Week 4: New York Jets @ Jacksonville Jaguars

I admittedly didn’t use the forum much between Sunday and Thursday because I wanted to avoid the negativity of the post Miami game. But most Jets fans I talked to in real life were very confident they would beat the Browns, which is what led me to take Cleveland.

Now they’re all cowering in their boots over Jacksonville, so I’m taking the Jets.

 

I admire your optimism, but don't agree. Marrone will have his team prepared and ready to attack our weaknesses. I hope you're right though.

 

I want the jets to get completely pounded if it means Gump is fired by morning. Jags 48-10

 

Jags will win. Not wasting time watching this game.

Hoping offshore goes flat and we can get out to the edge for some Yellowfin.

I hate the rebuild but hope it yields the results we seek.

 

Thursday night I punked out in the 3rd Q and watched 'House on Haunted Hill'. Next Sunday I'm thinking of watching either 'The Tingler', 'The Pit and the Pendulum', or 'Tales of Terror'. It really is a toss up. I'll re-pose the question in the game thread in the 3rd Q when the Jets are down by 80 points, but I'm leaning towards 'Tales of Terror'. Nevermind, I've decided.



Mostly because Debra Paget being in it gave it the edge. She was in that corny movie 'The Ten Commandments' (I will get into Chuck Heston in detail another time - I love him - because he sucks!), but she followed up the annoying 'Ten Commandments' with 'The Indian Tomb". So yeah, I've decided on my 3rd Q movie. Here's a taste of 'The Indian Tomb', and I confident you will all agree with my well-founded 3rd Q bail out decision.

Yep. Jax got their clunker out of the way right before us. Beating incoming.

 

If my dentist worked Sundays, I would schedule a root canal next week rather than watch this game.

 

This game should be entertaining. Not only are they one of the best teams in the league but now they're going to be coming in angry after laying an egg this week against the Titans.

 

Jets will win this game just to confound us even more.

 

The Titans beat the Jags twice last year ... this was no surprise to me, they play in the same division, and play them well ! they have a good ranked Defense and they made the playoffs last year ... we still lost 38 - 17

 

OTOH still think we beat the Bills twice ??? LOL

 

Nope.

Was kind of hoping they'd still be winless when we played them, though. Would have made it extra embarrassing and maybe raised the temperature a bit on Bowles' hot seat.

 

I think we win 5 games (if things fall our way)

 

Jax lost today there is no way we will next Sunday. The let's bench Darnold threads will begin after the game.

 

We have extra practice/film time this week? Will it matter is the question.....

We beat them last year and they looked bad on Sunday and couldn't score. I have hope but not expecting a win. Just looking to enjoy the atmosphere of Football due to being down here in Florida I only go to one game a year.

PS: Going to get a customized Dante Fowler Jr. Jets jersey just to bust their fans chops of salary cap hell lol
