Browning Nagle did suck. Todd Bowles sucks too.

Also Those other coaches you mention are better because they MADE the playoffs once in their lives, something Todd Bowles hasn’t done

Tired of the excuses. And when you lose to a team that hasn’t won a game in 2 years, it’s hard to use the “we had less talent” excuse... AGAIN

What does the amount of wins the other team had the last two years have to do with their talent? The Rams won a SB after 9 straight losing seasons. Vermeil went 5 and 11 and 4 and 12 prior to going 13 & 3 and winning the SB. They were an a hugely talented team when they were 4 and 12. They added 2 players, Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk and started winning. Plenty of great teams have made the playoffs despite dumb coaching. The Cowboys won a SB with Bary Switzer as head coach. I doesn't matter one bit if you're tired of losing winning or excuses. Sports are a competition, teams have no right to wins nor do fans. Knee jerk reactions won't change a thing.

I don’t think these Browns are winning the super bowl.

Who's the next hot young offensive mind the jets can hire as coach? They're an attractive option. Young QB to build around and a ton of cap space.

This is it, right here. There are owners who get involved in running their teams and others who don't, either because they don't care enough or recognize they are not qualified. The brothers Johnson might fit both criteria but to halt the embarrassment of all the people who keep throwing money at them they should exercise a bit of humility and hire a guy to run the show who knows what the hell he's doing.

Hire a guy who will hold MacCagnan's feet to the fire over the next ten months to plug the gaps and work on finding the right guy to mold 53 into one, the sooner the better. Until the buck stops in one place it will never stop at all.

Well, the bus is filling up fast and a lot of the guys climbing on look just like the guys who were standing on the sidewalk throwing stones at us a week ago. Maybe the title needs to seriously go back to the question of who is out there to replace Bowles and how soon can that happen. Does anybody really want to see Bowles on the sidelines facing New England Thanksgiving weekend following the bye week?

Here’s a question: Why should Bowles be retained at this point?

Curious how those reasons will stack up against the reasons he should be fired.

How about holding him accountable for the mess he has assembled. When will that happen? The team is not coached well at all and here we are in year 4 the discipline is still mind boggling absent. Crowell dumb penalty, Skrine constant penalty prone game, the play calling is schizo at best. That roll out to the right throwing back to the left needs to be removed from the playbook today. The entire league knows it and can sniff that thing out before they even try it.

I didn't want to see him this year. But the idiot brother of Woody rewarded him for constantly losing. Only in Jets world do you do that. Hope Bowles does not make it to the break. Leonard Williams had ZERO tackles in a whole game. He has too much talent to have a stat like that.

It'd be an interesting exercise to rank Jets coaches in history. Weeb, Parcells and Walt Michaels pretty well have to be the top three. After that? Then you have other guys who've had some success like Rex, Herm, Joe Walton (ick). Then you have the one-hit wonders like Groh, Pete Carroll, Lou Holtz (lol). Coslet and Mangini are just sort of meh, not as bad as the jokers but without any kind of real success. Good god, Bowles really would be down in the joker pile just above Kotite.

the problems is all we've had as head coaches lately are coordinators who are nothing more than that coordinators NOT head coaches ! TB being a great defensive mind can't develop a defense to save his life and here we think Sam Darnold has a shot to succeed with this group of phonies lololol

wide receiver has been a need since 2014 ... every draft was full of them and a bunch were available in later rounds meanwhile we have come up with Q who is a bit above avg but nothing more he is not a true #1 and Robby is a burner that is all, and those are a dime a dozen ...

It would be nice too see some fines doled out for the unsportsmanlike conduct penalties...straight from Johnson. It would send a message to the players and to Bowles..

Careful, I got blasted for suggesting this in the offseason. Apparently you’re not allowed to suggest the idea without a suitable list of candidates (which is pretty much anyone at this point) for a replacement.

That said, I agree completely. Let’s lose 49-42 instead of 20-17. At least it will be entertaining.
