I'm in the same boat... married into a Jets family and root for them whenever they're not playing the Pats. I disagree with Patriot's take, though. Just a few bad plays and breaks in that game for the Jets... flip one or two around and they're right in it. In fact, I told my Jet fan BIL that there were similarities in that way between Jets-Fins and the Pats-Jags game... turn two plays around and Brady is driving toward a potentially game-winning score at the end. Good luck against the Browns tonight... my BIL Jets fan will be over to watch. Hopefully the game is well in hand by halftime.
Oh I get it. It's like being a fan of the Greeks before the Turks sacked Constantinople and then continuing to be fans of both the Greeks and the Turks. Not that hard to comprehend.
As long as fumbles are limited and no butt fumbles. I see other issues on the team like blocking, pass rush & penalties. Especially on 3rd down
I don't have (and I'm too lazy to look) the numbers, but I know Enunwa fumbled but we recovered. Tannehill also fumbled but Dolphins recovered I think. It isn't just how many fumbles we've lost, but how many total, as there are many articles out there about fumbles being the important stat and fumble recoveries being a totally random chance.
Hey, at least these two Pats fans aren't condescending a-holes like Shasta01 was when he posted here.

How dare you. A true fan of the Greeks long for the days of Byzantium. Constantinople was a Roman rebrand.
lol i was playing along.. Brook won't recognize "Constantinople" any more than I'll recognize "Giants stadium"
He's a good guy, nicer and more knowledgeable than some posters here. As far as I'm concerned he will always be welcome.
I wasn't talking about him. I was reponding about seeing anther NE Patriot fan that is also a Jets fan. They are mostly rare and very hard to like.
I wish you would have provided concrete examples--I watch a bunch of games each week and haven't noticed the NYJ as exceptional in this regard
