    Did you not just see the video @Big Cat posted? The guy is in shape. He also had a big play on the last drive before Adams / Lee screwed it up.

    Pfft preseason.

    Yesterday early third quarter he had his hands on his hips sucking wind.

    How old is he? 23? 24? He shouldn't be getting tired at all IF he were in top physical condition.

    By general standards compared to the general population fans like us/the average citizen YES Leonard Williams is in shape.

    By NFL standards Leonard Williams is a flabby mess.

    Interesting thread being that Williams was one of the most noticeable players in a good way yesterday for the Jets defense.

    That's God given talent which is why he was a top five pick in the NFL draft.

    Is he honing that talent to a razor's edge by keeping his body in peak NFL standards condition?

    It doesn't look like it to me.

    all DTs look fat which is basically what he is. a 4-3 DT is the same as a 3-4 DE really. and a 4-3 DE is like a 3-4 OLB. different scheme

    Thats fine but at some point someones going to need to quantify that with a parameter or show that on film. Otherwise how do I know the guy is just not doing anything? Leonard Williams has been real quiet...he wasn't in college and i've seen him make plays before.

    Not his agent, just calling you out that you think a 6'4" 305 pound lineman should be ripped. 34 ends and 43 tackles are the anchors of a line. They need the bulk at the point of attack to hold the line and do their job. Williams is not fat for a lineman by any means. You may not like his production and that is fine, but calling him fat is the epitome of dumbass troll like posting.
