    Cooks was great pickup. He's a terrific WR. This pickup reminds me of when they signed Floyd after he was cut for a DUI.

    Gee, a useful player at a position of need gets himself dropped by his team and somehow makes his way to the Pats. This was not at all forseeable and not in any way a scam. Fuck this league. Even the WWE doesn't make its storylines this predictable.

    True. If their only two choices are to release him or trade him to the Jets, then they should trade him, but again, I don't think the Jets should give up a 3rd for Gordon. A 5th is all I would trade. Still, a 5th is better than nothing.

    pathetic. They get Gordon for nothing. Fucking NFL man, they overthink themselves. You have a potential beast that costs nothing that you can get for a conditional 5th round pick and they are afraid to pull the trigger. There's a reason why N.E. has been consistently better than everyone.

    I posted a thread about this on a saturday that I was afraid that if we didn't look into trading for him he would end up with the Pats or Fins but it was moved to the NFL forum. Kinda BS my thread was moved but this one stays. Anyway....Called it
