Exactly! Lee should have just kept it vanilla as you never reveal your own ace in the hole. Whether we knew the signals or not is no one's business. I get it that Lee was happy after finally showing up, but next time if the Jets actually have an edge in any particular area on defense, he needs to keep his mouth shut about it.
A) Other teams are already paranoid about their signals being co-opted, they aren't going to be more so because the Lions were careless and we don't play them for another four years. B) Maybe the idea was to get the Lions to change their signals before playing the rest of the AFC East Honestly the only possible negative for me is that it almost delegitimizes their own defensive effort, as if they only played well because they knew the signals.
yea, I think so too. some players are born media savvy, some have to have the skilled pounded into them. let's see how he does next game
I have a feeling Bowles already has had "the talk" with Lee. Bowles doesn't play that run your mouth to the media shit.
and really shouldn't have taken too long. hey, choose your words more carefully next time. end of conversation
And, playing Devil's Advocate, maybe it will make teams take note and think oh the Jets got their shit together a bit. Perhaps they will make adjustments before they play us and change their signals and perhaps this will lead to some miscommunication down the line. Ifs, buts any maybes, I know and, yeah, he should probably just shut up.
Defensive effort includes film study so I really don't think it delegitimizes the D effort, but also agree with others that it shouldn't have been said about knowing the signals.
Is back to Casper the friendly ghost. Next time STFU and if you know the plays keep it to yourself. Not to mention Bowles saying a play is unacceptable then saying “well move on” is a complete joke and should seal his fate that dmf. But whatever. This year is about developing Sam and Firing Forrest Bowles So we need to go about 3-13

Nope you’re just a moron who overreacts to every win and loss. They’ll beat the Browns next week by a FG and it’s back to a 12-4 team. Jets fans are mostly pathetic.
They lost This game because they have a 21 year old Qb and a a rookie te played extended snaps for the first time. Bowles has the defense playing great. They gave up lesss than 200 yards going into that last drive (admittedly the last drive was brutal)
Posters speculate whether or not coaches and media members read this board... It's far more likely to be read by psychology majors because the schizophrenia around here is rampant.
I've noted before that this actually isn't true at all for almost everyone. Among the frequent posters there are some people who are generally positive, and there are some people who are generally negative. When the team plays well the positive people come out in force, and the negative people either post less, or are muted in their posts, and the apparent "fanbase view" is biased in favor of the positive people. When the team plays poorly the negative people come out in force, and the positive people either post less, or are muted in their posts, and the apparent "fanbase view" is biased in favor of the negative people. There's no such thing as the "view of the fanbase" - there are individual views of each fan in the fanbase. What you see is mostly a selective sampling phenomenon being driven by the performance of the team on the field. It's easy to see that if you look at the individual posters who are posting and track their views from week to week, and how much they post from week to week.
Selective sampling true But week 1 I was all in for 7-3 start Look it up Clearly our CS is what they have always been Trash Therefore my 7-3 prediction was stupid Give us a real coach-
