Bortles needing wrist surgery after last season screwed the Jags big-time - they basically couldn't cut him as a result of it, since his option was guaranteed for injury and he couldn't possibly be recovered six weeks later. With little cap room they really didn't have any options, other than taking a flyer on a late round pick, which is exactly what they did (Tanner Lee in the 6th, who did make the practice squad). If they don't win the Super Bowl this year I can't see how they can stick with Bortles next year.
https://www.metlifestadium.com/getting-here/nfl-parking-information I see the mention of the $40 cash here: Parking for Guests without Pre-Paid Permits Guests without prepaid permits may also park at the off-site lot located at 20 Murray Hill Parkway, East Rutherford, NJ 07073 for $40. Shuttle service will be provided to and from MetLife Stadium. Where is Redd's Restaurant in relation to the above? We had Yellow Passes and always parked in Lot L. It wasn't far from Pepsi at all. They upgraded us to Yellow from Orange as a "courtesy" after screwing up our seniority and refusing to make right on it. Thanks, assholes.
Oh geez, I forgot they drafted Tanner Lee. Awful. Fournette is hurt and they are going up against the Patriots today, Bortles really needs this game. There could be a shuffle in the NFL in terms of QBs. Derek Carr and the Raiders, who knows what could happen with that. Gruden already throwing his QB under the bus. Jameis Winston as well. You have to wonder if the Jags window closed, they had the Pats on the ropes last year in the AFCCG.
Skimming through this thread, the bold has not been talked about enough. Let's not forget that they also have Robert Quinn. That's 2 legit bookend pass rushers. They are what scare me about the Dolphins.
Wake is 36 years old. I’m expecting him to come out of the gates explosive but become a non factor as he wears down in the heat.
^Never pick the Jets. It's like that movie 'Drug Store Cowboy' with Matt Dillon (great movie, btw). "Never leave a hat on the bed." OK, here we go folks! GO JETS!!!
Good job D. I don’t love the return team today so far, roberts is letting them pin us deep Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
so far, imo, the dolphins are exposing the average jets OL. for all the chirping about darnold knowing the playbook, most pass calls are quick 3 step drops. the 5 and 7 step plays are effectively out because they have to protect the kid. why? well he is a rookie of course. But the bigger reason is the OL. its gonna get exposed against the decent front 7's. the combination of a rookie qb and less than stellar line is gonna be frustrating to watch at times and today, so far, is one of those days.
