Funny but wish it was the Pats forums honestly I read the Pats game thread on the Jets, and it was fun to see the swing over time From euphoria at the pick 6 to deflecting the domination Some of the fair guys did acknowledge Sam appeared to be the real deal For the most part The rest would not give any positive comments and focused on the ineptitude of Detroit and Patricia
As excited about the game, and hopeful of the team, as I am, it is still a realistic possibility that this game reflects more about how terrible the Lions are than the Jets are good. So I can’t fault Pats fans for pointing in that direction. I felt good about this game the moment Patricia was hired. He’s going to be an all time horrible coach.
man you think those Lion fans are mad, you guys should see these butthurt Giant fans at my job trying to compare Darnold to Sanchez. Felt good laughing at them saying they drafted a RB at 2.
I love visiting other teams message boards, reddit after the day of a big loss always a fun guilty pleasure
I can't help but think that as it was happening he thought to himself WHAT?!!! That worked against them when I was in New England. Bwahahaha!
They're Lions fans they should be used to it. Detroit, Cleveland, Oakland The three worst run franchises in the sport IMO.
It's not a coincidence that the coaches from the BB tree who have had sustained success are college coaches - Pat Hill at Fresno State, Kirk Ferentz at Iowa, and of course Nick Saban at LSU and Alabama. Nowadays only college coaches can get away with the dictatorial BB style, and even they will find it backfiring if they don't have success quickly.
What one has to remember about the Lions is that their fans have suffered even more than us. The media and people like to attack the Jets because they are from NY but we have had some success. The Lions have one playoff win in the last 59 years. That is real suffering. We have endured Lou Holtz and his fight song, the Mud bowl, the fake spike, the Gastineau penalty against kosar, Kotite, the mental instability of Groh and Mangini, and Sanchez and Geno but we have had some success. One playoff win in 59 years. That is suffering. Now we have hope for the future and all they have is one in 59 and memories of the 0 and 16 season that got them Stafford. So glad I am a Jets fan.
Matt Patricia The best sideline attire in NFL head coaching history? Looked like they just threw a giant black tarp over him
But, The Lions do have several things over us.. They've had more stadiums than us AND they're playing in their own stadium instead of a timeshare. #NitPicking
