You apparently always will not understand the difference between facts and opinions; truth and fantasy. You can certainly comment on anything you want, but you can't put words in someone else's mouth. Your presumption to say what I want is totally dishonest and just plain wrong! I'm not sure about you and those you're familiar with, or their dressing habits, but I've never worn panties thus have none to get twisted; if you think it supports your argument to repeat such a juvenile statement, I guess you're on your own. I never predicted six wins and never used the number of six wins, that is another example of you attempting to argue a point I never stated - most would simply call that a lie. And I repeatedly have said the Jets, under Bowles, have not demonstrated progress but have regressed and Bowles himself has not exhibited progress in his coaching decision making. "Underachieve" is your word (unless you can quote that alleged "original statement" that is simply another lie,) not mine but I would agree that two five win seasons should be considered underachieving, particularly after a 10 - 6 debut. 2 : an underlying often ideological plan or program a political agenda - Merriam-Webster definition of agenda As often as you choose to repeat it this should make it simple for you to understand you are using the word "agenda" improperly. Your indication is that I have some kind of plan or program to dethrone Bowles., as if there was something for me to personally gain by doing so. Thank you for attributing so much power and authority to me and TGG as a whole, but my words here are simply the venting of a long suffering Jets fan who has abided mediocrity in coaching for fifty years and is not willing to do so silently. This is just my little drop in the bucket. Now perhaps you can tell us exactly what it is that you have seen in the performance of Todd Bowles and his staff of coaches as well as the team under his complete control that has you jumping through hoops to see the experience of the last three years extended.
You really just can't help yourself. It's hard to believe you're still asking why I like him, what I see when one said over and over again that he needs to improve. Doesn't change you're ridiculous claims is underachieving any the goofy claims that every single expert and media outlet only predicted 1-3 wins to attract readers and ratings. You just need to walk away. You never can, always have to hear yourself sounds in pointless, wrong arguments .Move on, . You're incapable of making a relevant intelligent post. Bye, the desperate video doesn't help your case BTW.
Your reading comprehension continues to fail you. I have never advocated locking a single thread. This has always been and should continue to be a place to share differing opinions. The problems only develop when some are unable to restrain themselves from personally attacking those with whom their opinions differ. "Your instigating ass" comes very close to that standard. This thread is about a possible replacement for Todd Bowles which I believe is overdue. I have supported my opinion here using facts. As stated somewhere above, my only "agenda" here is to voice that opinion, I'm tired of watching the Jets lose.
Lmao facts my ass. Check my last post that includes your quoted bullshit. You instigate with no facts and argue with others hoping they play your game. Insult or not ... its true.
I'll set the standard quite low for you - exhibit that you are capable "of making a relevant intelligent" sentence first. Answer the uncomfortable questions directly rather than trying to explain what anyone else is doing. Who is the "one" you refer to in your second sentence? We've already determined that you are satisfied with taking the opinions of wags and pundits as some kind of gospel, I'm not. That's simply a difference of opinion - I look for truer sources. In a couple of hours the new season will be underway for the Jets; there will be ups and downs, some more crucial than others. I won't use a single play or even a few games as an indication of the path the team will take but will judge any progress, or lack, or opposite of same after we've seen a few games and that will continue into the New Year changing according to how the winds of success blow. My expectations, however, remain that we will not see any significant improvement from the coaching staff and that delaying change there is delaying an opportunity to better the team. I would welcome being proven wrong.
You wouldn't know a fact if it bit you on the ass. Are you talking about the quote where I stated Bowles had a team that won ten games and then went two years winning five each? Was there a different post of mine you quoted that I missed? I'm sorry to inform you that that is not "bullshit" nor is it an opinion - it is a well-documented fact. In 2015 the Jets won ten games. In 2016 the Jets won five games. In 2017 the Jets won five games. Facts.
I don't need to go back to anything. If you have a quote from me that proves your point just put it up right here. I have "mea culpa'd" here in the past and am perfectly capable of doing so again but until you prove your point it's all just "fake news" from you.
We will find out this year, how many wins are you predicting for this team so I just know in advance?
I just might close this thread until mid season. Thinking about it.. What say you TGG? I'll leave it up to you guys..
leave it open...let's see what happens. Hopefully it fades away from disuse as Bowles takes them to the SB.
Leave it open. I've always been a "show me" guy and I saw enough good tonight and little to complain about so I'll probably take a week off here anyway. But I'll note 101 never did respond to how many wins he predicts for the season. We know he said "7 to 9" a couple of weeks ago.
I’m the biggest Bowles hater. Admit that. I’ve been banned for taking it too far with my disdain for him. I also admit that I just want to see the team win. if they play 3 phase football similar to tonight, and if the kids keep believing, keep that sonofabitch (said in a loving way)
