My problem is that every so called expert, every publication, every commentator, our own coverage said we were a bottom of the league 1-3 win team, no one said we were a 5 win team and that makes me wrong? Got it fella. You and youre buddy had them at what 6 or more wins? Youre just making more excuses, EVERYONE who made all those predictions were doing so based on attracting eyeballs. Got a question, how the hell does predicted the Jets wont win more than 3 games attract more eyeballs than say, I dont know, they'll win 8 games and shock people? You know say something that fans want to read or hear. Answer than question. WHos going to turn on a person, read a report that we'll suck? Wheres the appeal of this failed theory?

The HC we have now has a losing record back to back 5-11 seasons and shows a questionable ability to coach in game develop players ( even on Defense) but you choose to defend him If you are so confident The NYJ s will beat the Lions tomorrow would you bet your mortgage on it?

Look, let's say for argument's sake that most "experts" picked them to win 3 games. So they won 5 - WOW! Is that the Lomabardi Trophy of losers? They won 5 the year before, and presumably were trying to improve, i.e. win more than 5, but fell short. And it wasn't like Bowles was trying to lose - didn't he start McCown when he was healthy "because he gives us the best chance to win"? So Bowles was trying, he just wasn't succeeding. By any definition that's underperforming. But it's more than just the record, it's that a lot of the players didn't perform as expected. Why were there so few sacks and turnovers; why were S.T.s so shitty; why did were the two back up QBs not capable? I'm not saying it's all Bowles's fault, Macc shares blame as well, but the fact is that this team has underperformed, and they need to give evidence that they're FINALLY going in the right direction.
Again, I can't speak for anyone else, but my "agenda" is that the Jets become perennial contenders for the SB - note, not just make the playoffs and one and done - I don't call that success. I want to see them become as consistent in winning as the Steelers, Packers, Broncos, Cowboys, Patriots, and yes, the Giants. I'm sick of being a fan of a second class franchise. I don't believe Bowles is the HC that can do that. I'm happy to be proven wrong - by his performance - not by some other posters who are willing to overlook the red flags he presents. Maybe the light bulb will suddenly turn on for him this year, but I still see a guy who doesn't know how to manage a game, and whose defense - which is his supposed strength - underperforms. There is no "agenda" here, other than wanting accountability to be shouldered by those running the team, from ownership on down. If that's your idea of a "conspiracy" then call Jeff Sessions and have me indicted.

No one is going to go back and read every post you've written. The goal in posting is to communicate clearly, so there is no confusion. We all use language differently and filter it through our own mindset, so even with our best efforts, sometimes people will have questions or not understand what we're saying. It shouldn't be hard to respond to those questions and clarify.
Guys, We have a new QB where we hope to be a franchise QB. We have a game tomorrow at 7 pm and we are discussing next year's coach? Not enough already. Can I please lock this?
