Fowler is a free agent at years end. We can sign him for free

This is one of the oddest posts I have ever read. In your first sentence you say football is the ultimate team sport, then list a bunch of team stats that Mack can't control too much of. That is not how you evaluate a linebacker. He is obviously a great player.

You can't blame the Raiders for asking for the moon, but if any team gives up two number 1 picks for this guy, they're crazy. In all my years watching football there are only a small handful of players I would be willing to give up two number 1s to get ... and VERY few defensive players ... Lawrence Taylor, Reggie White ... maybe Ed Reed. That's about it.

    Because he’s clueless.

Mack is one of the best defensive players in the league.

    One can only laugh.

While I agree with you about not giving up a 1st round pick for a 27 year old, you can't really use career wins as a detriment. Aside from one good year with Carr, the Raiders have been a crappy team, and Carr was injured for the 1 playoff game they had. That's not really on Mack. I haven't done the math, but I'm pretty sure that Mack's team has a better record than the Jets since he was drafted.

The fact is usually rebuilding teams are the ones in position to draft top pass rushers in drafts.

Joe Thomas is 48-128, with .257 win%, and he's most likely going to the hall of fame. It really doesn't mean squat. Joe Thomas on the Patriots would have an amazing record and multiple super bowls.

    My point exactly.

The only player worth multiple 1st round picks or a 1st along with multiple draft picks is a top 5 Franchise QB.

Warren Sapp, Bruce Smith, Von Miller. Very small list man.

It’s silly to even think about the Raiders getting rid of Mack.

Just the thought of Mack and Leonard Williams with Adams, Maye, Trumaine Johnson, Claiborne. That is a bigtime defense. And then if Shepard develops we'll be on the precipice of having a truly special defense that's Super Bowl caliber. With a solid running game and a true franchise QB capable of becoming a top 5 QB in the league. We will have the cap space to upgrade the oline through free agency

Still don't really believe the Raiders would let him walk. And I wouldn't give up two firsts. But it's intriguing.

Bottom line is this, we still have to go into this season with a pass rusher. Fowler and Ray are out there to be had and I'd like to land one of them. It won't be a Mack level impact players but it will still help a bunch

I'm clueless? O.k, let's just see how "clueless" I really am (or you for that matter).

A.) How many teams have ever traded multiple 1st round draft picks for an OLB/DE?

B.) When was the last time an OLB/DE won an NFL MVP award?

    (I'll be patiently waiting)...

And then we'll see who the "clueless one" is.

P.S: Stop "attacking me'' through the INTERNET with your little tough guy online warrior of a keyboard and mouse and/or your cell phone or tablet and actually try and present yourself with a Football case (or take your bullshit to the bullshit forum).

I'll be laughing at your answers to both 'A' & 'B'.

    Ding ding ding; winner.

While still having our draft picks heading into a 2019 draft class that's fully loaded with both 1st round O-Lineman and Outside/Edge Pass Rushers.

Super Bowl MVP was a LB 2 out of the last 5 years. Something that is a lot harder to accomplish with every new rule benefiting the offense

Jared Allen, Richard Seymour, John Abraham all were traded for 1st round picks. Allen went for a 1st and 3 other picks. You saying multiple 1st round picks does not mean anything since the majority here are not talking about multiple first round picks. It's not even a poll choice.

That is a typical post by him. Make an outlandish statement, use statistics that don't relate to the player to back up said statement, then attempt paragraph upon paragraph of bullshit in an attempt to win an internet argument. Its classic trolling at its best.

Are we all talking about this guy?

Khalil Mack is one of the few absolute game breakers in the NFL. I’d argue only Von and Donald bring anything close to a comparable impact (Watt if healthy).

He’s obviously worth a 1 and I could be talked into 2 of them.

I don't know if I would budge with two 1's, but I would absolutely give a 1 and both 3's we have now. Hell, I would even pick up Mack from the airport myself if that was the case. I see Some people here clamoring about oh we need to draft OL or we can get a pass rusher with that 1st. Of course we do - you have to be blind to not see that as a need.

Who the hell even says a pass rusher or OT will be available wherever we pick. Then you have the people saying, "oh we can just trade back down into the draft and get more picks." How do we even know that's an option? On top of that, you have the people who say we can just trade up to grab our guy. Hello people, what do you think it is going to cost to trade up in the draft to get the pass rusher or OT you actually want??? You would be happy that whoever you traded up to get would even be half the player Mack is.

IMO, I would rather give up 2 firsts than a 1 and 2 thirds. If we give up that package this year, we’ve completely shot our 2019 draft class. Our only picks would be in the 4th, 5th and 7th round. If we give up 2 firsts, we still have 3, 3, 4, 5, 7 this year and 2-7 in 2020. We can easily have productive drafts in both of those years, but giving up 2 3’s destroys our chances of getting any impact players out of the 2019 draft.

Right but as a said earlier, if I'm Oakland, I would want the picks in '19 because the Jets have a very high chance of picking at the top of the rounds.

It would absolutely throw in the towel on our 2019 draft class, but it isn't like we don't have $80m (assuming $20m to Mack since we are talking about getting him) to spend on free agents who can become impact players. The Jets are in a special situation at the moment. We have our FQB and we would then have our stud pass rusher going into the 2019 season. You can absolutely just spend money on the OL to improve it and fill/address any other holes or needs we would have.

You’re questions don’t even relate to the real point. You’re confusing some of your bullshit with some of your other bullshit. But please don’t come to the Bullshit forum.

But tell us again how much you hate Bart Scott but how Philly Stackz loved Bart Scott.

I’ll be laughing at your answers.

PS: Not “attacking you” just pointing out your bullshit.

He’s not even a Jet fan. He’s a clueless Dolphin troll.

Cut and paste, paste and cut Wikipedia and Google.
