well, if the goal is to put your young QB in lousy situations, kudos to Bowles for achieving that in spectacular fashion. If the goal is to see just how lousy his ST unit has been coached, I think he checked that box too.

I remember a few years ago when the Jets offense was so appalling in the preseason and people made excuses about vanilla offense. Then the season started and nope, crap offense was crap offense. I think that was the Sparano (RIP) year.

If the Jets seriously want to trade Bridgewater for whatever they can get (which I hope and assume is NOT the case) I'd almost think you might not want to put him on the field. Keep the starters in. Get him some more reps. He was victimized by drops, a ST fumble, and idiotic playcalling and penalties putting him in some tough situations in the shadow of his own endzone
