I agree, but even to further your point, throwing a pick is better because at least theres a chance it's a 1st down (as long as its not a terrible blatant pick 6). But throwing it away is admitting defeat.
I don't get the criticism. He looked good. Miles ahead of other rookie QBs. He reads the field VERY well, doesn't stare down receivers if they aint open he moves on. Made good decisions with the ball apart from the int which was just a dumb play call. He will be a very good QB in this league.
Good reference. I miss Farley. Yeah, Sam had a few plays like that the last 2 weeks too. Impressive awareness.
To be fair when I saw the thread I was going to make a similar comment and expected this to be full of comments flaming the guy, but the OP isn't really saying that. The thread title just sucks.
My second pet peeve next to the word 'like' is 'anyways'. It's not that anyways is wrong in most instances. I'm just sick of it.
Like cool story kid. Anyways, back to the op, it is a horrible thread title. The post was strong for a first post though so I don’t ant to kill him for it but it really should be changed . I just don’t know what it should be changed to.
Like, kid, and anyways, lol. Plus, I am the typo Queen of the World! I wasn't being a tool or a bitch. If I can spell my own name, it's a good day.
Haha, I truthfully wasn't being a nudge. I posted how much I hate the word like and the word kid a short while back, but FJF is ribbing me. I think. Anyway, all are welcome in The Ministry of Love, so I hope Matthew_McBride keeps posting and may he not be deterred.
I like the huge pink diaphragm cock ring combo thing! Plus, it's a circle that almost fits in a square. ; )
OK, I'm gonna say it because no-one else ever did. As much as I've always liked your posts (and still do), that sacrificial cow always distracted me and creeped me out. Unless it was a cow that won the Hindi lottery.
It's early but I'm already seeing things from him that I didn't see from Sanchez or Geno. Hitting receivers in stride, feeling the rush, throwing the ball out of bounds when under pressure. So far so good.
Robbie Anderson just might be the best player on the team right now so that's gonna have to change once the real games begin. That guy is pure SPEED. If Darnold is who we hope he is that SHOULD BE a special connection.
I'm not at all concerned with Darnold not really pushing the ball up the field during only two preseason games and a couple of drives. It's only the preseason with OC's across the NFL keeping their game plans and play calling vanilla. I've seen enough of Darnold from his USC days to know, that he has the arm that can, and will beat you deep. He's never been scared to take strikes deep down field. Come the regular season if the opportunity presents itself, I'm confident that Darnold can and will find Robby Anderson while taking the top off a defense. I'm excited for it.
A lot of the play calling may have to do with getting the ball out of Sam's hands quicker due to the O-line being so porous.
