Urlacher was a safety in college and the bears drafted him as a linebacker and the guy was insane. i doubt Lee would even hit like a safety. he is just soft
I dont understand why he still has a job. It's one thing for the GM to swing and miss badly on the pick. But WHY is the coaching staff still playing him? bench him for God's sake..
On the Redskins first drive they ran grey-beard Vernon Davis right in front of Lee, Lee apparently had no interest in covering him? as Davis slipped right in front of his face for an easy catch and run for like 20 yards. Then the very next drive!! they hand it off to Perine, Sharon Lee fills the gap tenatively, they blow his ass up accordingly and its a 30 yard run. the guy is a terrible linebacker, it drives me crazy
Looks like Darron Lee pick sucks big hairy goat balls. That's on you, Mac. P.S. Picking in rd 1 after 15 is like death knell for this team. They can't find a talent, or they can't coach up the kid. (Or both. I am actually inclined to lean on the "BOTH" option.)
Well there has to be something we are not seeing that the coaching staff sees on film because he’s going nowhere anytime soon. We will be having this discussion every week during regular season.
Damn, Bart Scott was not kind on his assessment of Darron Lee's play last night during his radio show this afternoon. Anyone else hear it?
Even if Lee does end up being a bust, when a poster makes proclamation after proclamation about numerous different players, it just falls under the old, even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.
