Can't hate on vanilla playcalling on offense in preseason. What matters is what the kid does with his opportunities when the OL doesn't lay down.
Protection has broken down but very late in the play. The red zone sack especially was a play where he could have moved around and extended the play but chose to stay on his mark. Looked more comfortable last week to me.
I tend to agree. Darnold seems to have the quick decision rhythm game down. I'd like to see some more deep ball mixed in.
