The other thing I like as somebody who doesn't watch a lot of college football and hasn't seen a ton of Darnold before he's built a lot stouter, especially in the lower half, than I realized. Not only is he fairly fast and mobile he looks like he's physically built for the long haul of an NFL career. Maybe not quite Dak Prescott stout but he's leaning in that direction.
Funny you mention this. Rolling left is actually a massive strength for Darnold. I’ve rarely seen prospects so proficient at throwing while moving left.
Can we wrap Sam in bubble wrap and put him in the freezer until the start of the season? I don’t need to see anymore against future Wal-Mart employees.
The QB drought is over!!!! This guy is way better than I thought he'd be, and I thought he'd be good. Wow is the correct word.
Jet fans. Best first half of pre season Jets football since God knows when. Depleted with the vision of a FQB and two solid wining QBs to compliment him since ever. And this D is not a push over. Let's go get them boys. This is the year of hope.
It is almost unbelievable to be more excited about a preseason game than I have been for the last 6-8 years of regular season. Sam looks so poised and the defense looked pretty stout. Both Sam and Teddy playing well is better than Christmas.
Well Zace, we do what we must. I do wish Petty well and would be thrilled if he somehow manages to stick with the Dolphins. The fact that Petty is still in a uniform puts him ahead of Hack. If Petty had looked even half as good as Darnold is looking tonite, we'd be having a different conversation right now..
Do the Jets keep Darnold in for the 2nd half, or do they put Bridgewater back in to raise his trade stock even more?
Im impressed by Darnold thoroughly. I think he looks like a young Aaron Rodgers Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
