Darnold showing both good and bad plays today. Wilcox and Bryant making that backup S competition even more interesting, along with Middleton and Brooks.
Seems like Darnold is having very good day outside of two passes....which is the sort of quarterback I expect him to be in the end - mistake prone but playmaker
If he was capable of staying out of trouble off the field he would’ve never gone undrafted. The Giants would’ve taken him. Football royalty.
Sucks. I get it. But last week I got up at that stupid time to get hooked up to a dialysis machine. Im not feeling it for a guy who just signed a $30+ million contract because he has to suck it up for a few weeks. Interesting part is most fans complain that the last CBA eliminated 2 A Days. But early start time for workouts are harsh and risks burnout? He was lectured for a reason.
Nobody is disputing that but 5am in the morning to train, is ridiculous, you have all day to train, they are not going to be at it for 12 solid hours are they ? And if that is the case it is no wonder there is so many training camp sprains and strains.
I am sorry you have to get up to suffer that treatment mate but I still don't believe pro athletes need to be up and running at 5am in the morning, then again maybe early in early away, would be acceptable with the heat being an issue over there which I didn't think about until now. I understand the dedication required to get to the top of the pile but not sure the coach knocking him on film is the way to go either, keep that shit in house, especially if you are the Browns who have probably whiffed on another number 1 pick.
I’m not ready to give up yet because I loved Leggett coming out of Clemson but he’s done almost nothing. Herndon may be my new favorite youngin TE.
You most certainly do not. They're in the classroom or on the field most of the day. Bowles gets to the facilities at 4 a.m., bet Jackson does too. And the QB cant get there an hour later?
Pretty much wher I am also. Couldn’t believe we got leggett in the 5th but expectations are dwindling with every day he misses. Can never go wrong with a te from the u though
Yes I saw that Bowles gets in at 4am on those facebook videos and I thought then, fuck me that is early, you have 24 hours in a day and a family at home, so unless they all pack up and go home mid-afternoon at the latest then I would say it is a horrible life to lead. ps you have to remember I am a football/soccer guy in my own experience, I would love to see a pro soccer guy get up for 4am training over here lol
