I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would follow a team that they feel hasn't given them one moment of enjoyment since 1968. He won't buy gas from the old owner, won't buy a jersey from any owner. Worse wants to tell those of us who get enjoyment on any level that there is something wrong with us for feeling that way.

That is one of the weirdest things I've ever heard. Why is green = to queen? Go tell the army and the marines that they look gay. You've lived in the NYC area too long. I lived there for 16 years and I got so sick of all the boring black and gray that people wear. It's a colorless, boring city in spite of it being the fashion capital of the US. If green is so queen, why root for the Jets? Did you start rooting for them when they were the Titans? If so, why didn't you change allegiances when they became the Jets and switched to green and white? It's also sad that you're such a homophobe.
I'm 33 today and have been a homer at heart ever since my older brother (47 as of today) introduced me to sports. I can't remember a time in my life where I wasn't into the Jets & Knicks. Story has it my older brother had me watching sports since a newborn hah But yea. I love the Jets win or lose it brings me and my brother together on Sunday's and the foods are always awesome (just taste better after a win) but at the end of the day it's just fan entertainment and a bond we've always shared together. I wouldn't change it for the world. Some sports fans are just rotten people in general. Who are miserable with their own lives, therefore use the Jets as a scapegoat in order to vent their life frustration at a team, rather than themselves. I'll never become that fan. I'll retire as a fan before I have no enjoyment come NFL Sunday's. Even when the Jets suck I always enjoy linking up with my brother for the games, foods, I do my parlay gambling, fantasy football, work pools etc etc when I can no longer enjoy any of the above? I'm done.
That mock up is a horror show. At that rate, the Jets should make Gray their primary color to match the seat backs at MetLfe.
That's another can of worms altogether they could've done something great with that stadium instead it's a generic snoozefest that looks like an air conditioner. Couldn't even give us overhangs like Seattle. Architecturally boring Like our version of Fedex before they renovated. Plus 82,000 seats is way too many. Should've capped it at 77,000.
If you google “greatest” or “nicest” stadiums in the world, MetLife would be on page 50 of the images pages. We’re New York Fucking City, the greatest city in the greatest country in the world. And we got a dumpster fire. The west side stadium-don’t get me started- would have been resplendent. $1.6 BILLION. For the worst looking and worst functional new football stadium in the country. A fucking joke.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Once you get inside the building it's as good as others. Room to stretch, room to walk, sightlines are fine, plenty of replay screen space. He didn't say that at all, unless his post has been edited. He said his money has been wasted every year. He said he was at one of the best games the Jets ever played - he didn't say the Jets only played one decent game in all that time. Seriously, if you want things to make sense, read and comprehend what he wrote, not what you're guessing at because you just want to disagree with him. Having major issues with the team is something Jets fans do. For good reason.
I think we are seeing some of our new uniform designs right now with the NY hats that the coaches have been wearing ...I think that's going to be the logo that winds up on the helmet.
