Hahaha Darnold threw 2 incompletions? And one of them was a deep ball that glanced off his receiver’s hands How could there have possibly been a point where he looked “pretty bad” and repeatedly made “trash throws”?
Who said the word or even mentioned "amazing"? But he is a rookie. And in case you're unaware plenty of rookie QB's lose confidence during practice. Nice to see Darnold hasn't. Hackenberg couldn't get off the practice field. Because he was not able to overcome his mistakes, you big football genius you.
It's just a nothing burger you felt the need to publicly jerk off over. That's all, you big Kellen Winslow you.
Kellen Winslow? Coming from a man? Talking about "jerking off" when speaking to another man? I know psychology; you must be looking for an internet fight. You win, sicko (there were grandmothers destroyed by that man). I come here to post about green and white football. Always have always will until the day I'm no longer here on Earth. Bye, bye now.
This was a ton of fun, can’t believe I’ve never done this before. Met a bunch of Jets legends, Chrebet, Coles, Baxter, Holmes Gastineau. Gastineau was wasted which was pretty funny, I kept waiting for a Namath moment which distracted me from game. My kids got a ton of autos after the game from current Jets, including Bowles. The game plan was extremely vanilla. I don’t know what that one guy was talking about Darnold hardly missed any throws. He seemed to get happy feet on a couple plays when the pass rush was getting there but he would make the right decision and dump off. His roll out game will be A plus and will be a big part of Bates offense, at least it better be. Two most impressive Jets were Cannon and Herndon which is very encouraging.
Thanks for posting these! It's good to see Darnold showing good instinct and SLIDING. It's been a while since the Jets had a QB that could slide.
I mentioned this just the other day when thinking back on the 1st two seasons of Mark Sanchez starting off his NFL career. I remember it got pretty bad. Our coaching staff had to make red light/green light signals during practices and also needed to have MLB baseball people come in and teach him how to slide. You're not seeing any of this with Darnold. He's able to process plays mentally and seems to be handling everything our coaching staff has thrown at him thus far throughout OTA's and into training camp. Still in the early stages of his 1st NFL offseason with a long ways to go but heading into his first preseason game he just seems to have a high IQ for the position as a rookie with a feel for the game around him.
Nah. Have to drive up to central NY for a wedding. Will have to stream the shit out of it because the wedding is Friday night.
Yeah I saw that and someone mentioned a strip sack with Sam as well. But I’m specifically curious if Teddy’s sacks were due to mobility issues in the pocket.
