I have no idea but my hope is it’s Darnold. I can’t take another game of watching McCown. He’s a great story and guy but every snap he takes is a wasted one IMO.
Darnold has made one super nice throw about twenty yards but other then that so far has looked pretty bad
Thanks for the updates. Honestly, I expect Jets D to be sick this year. Darnold probably is facing one of the better defenses in the league during this scrimmage.
Yeah but he held it terrible, its noncontact and the guy was able to just swat it out of his hands without hitting him
No. We all knew ball security was one of his biggest weaknesses coming out but look at Tiki Barber. From a fumbler to a ball protector. It's just up to Darnold to focus and work hard on it.
Darnold with a nice 15 yard play action to herndon then the next play missed another deep roll out. Then hits herndon again. Herndon hands look smooth
Well he had 2 pretty nice camp days in a row..theres always gonna be struggles along the way w rookie QBs. Sucks that it had to be in front of the crowd but as long as he continues to respond to the hurdles along the way than this is all just part of player development
Take it with a grain of salt, im the kind of guy to over react to good and bad, but it seems like he keeps making great throws then trash throws.
Drive stopped, no touchdown. As far as QBs with O line combos go, Darnold is with the scrubs as 3rd string but theyre giving him herndon who looks good.
