Pretty sure that’s the 2015 Flight Crew. This is 2018, Pretty sure that due to the prevailing PC Culture, the NFL trying to appease the general public and in fear of public backlash Christopher Johnson has said that all flight crew cheerleaders now have to be obese transsexual quadriplegic senior citizens... Now that we have the semblance of a bright future the fan base will need something to bitch about right?
There is an obese transsexual quadriplegic senior citizens anti-shaming movement afoot. Watch your back.
https://www.nola.com/saints/index.s...esse.html#incart_2box_nola_river_orleans_news It’s starting! Next thing you know it’s going to be Ira from Staten Island on the flight Crew! Lol
I realize that my pic of Samara was exclusionary to the women posters here. So...here is a gratuitous picture of Jimmy G.
that is enough to get any 40 year old porn goddess creaming. so glad the Pats traded him for nothing.
Individual Players: Crowell, Trumaine Johnson, Sam and... DARRON LEE. I think Lee finally makes some big strides this season. Team aspect: Special teams. I think special teams will take a big step forward this year and become a strength rather than a liability.
Is anyone else concerned that we don't have a QB coach? I know Bates is in the building, but he's got other shit to do.
No. Not a concern. As you mentioned, Bates. Darnold is in good hands. Has himself an offensive coordinator with lots of experience working with QB's. He'll be coached up on our quarterback position no question. And McCown can and will be used as another QB coach if not starting. And with almost 20 years of NFL experience Darnold is surrounded by the right people he's the same age as McCown's daughter; nuts.
I don't give a crap about how our Defense will be performing ..this has been the FOs focus for since forever and has not produced anything for the team except an expensive payroll-on the other hand seeing Parry N and Truman J earn their money.would be worth it.....Nathan Shepard is an interesting come from nowhere man to root for But this is the year of the Sam Darnold and the the beginning of a great Offense revival!!
We'll have the most cap space of any other NFL team come the offseason. Darron Lee could be debated but to have the likes of Leonard Williams, Jamal Adams and Sam Darnold (all) fall to us? How could MACC or any other GM say "no" to any of our recent 1st round draft picks? I'm glad we've focused on defense. Because now we just drafted our future QB to build around through both the draft and free agency. Darnold can be used as the birth for a re-vamped offensive attack. I love it. We can now focus our resources on finding a top notch Franchise LT, a highly rated Center, a game changing dominant RB, a true #1 WR etc etc in order to BUILD around Sam Darnold rather than having to draft 1st & 2nd rounders and/or throw big time money on DE (Leo Williams), MLB (Darron Lee), SS (Jamal Adams), FS (Marcus Maye), CB#1 (Trumaine Johnson). Which was, has been and imo is the beauty of Macc & Bowles focusing so much on defense over the past 3-4 years. Gave them time until they finally got it together and found/landed their Franchise signal caller; OFFENSE (around Darnold) can and will now be a focal point moving forward.
I want to see more of our edge rushers not named Jenkins and Mauldin. I found it interesting that Copeland and Luvu ran with the 1st team D last night as OLB. Maybe the coaches see something there, or maybe they're just sending a message to Jenkins and Mauldin. I'll be watching that position Friday night. TE is another position that lacks name recognition but it sounds like Herndon, Walford and Sterling all played really well last night. We may not have a star but Macc and Bowles have done a good job delivering on their competition mantra. I think Herndon has a chance to be a really good TE in time but most rookie TEs struggle. Will keep an eye on him and the other TEs in the preseason.
Day to day? I hope he can coach Sam up on ball security. With how the O line so is looking... young Sam is gonna be rolling out to save his life.
The closer we get to our preseason opener the more interested i become in learning a little more about Nathan Shepherd. As an early 3rd round draft selection I personally feel as if he's an NFL sleeper pick. Pre-Draft i don't recall his name being on any one of our early round mock drafts. And he most certainly wasn't on my radar heading in. (@ the time of draft night): Nathan Shepherd? I asked myself, who? From a division ll school coming out of "Fort Hays State? I asked myself, from where? Those were my initial thoughts. I asked myself dear Lord what did Macc & Bowles just do? Because to be accurate heading into the 3rd round and not to be "that guy" but I had my hopes set on Arden Key as our next pick following Sam Darnold. If it were up to me Sam Darnold & Arden Key goes 1-3 and are both in green and white. Off the field concerns or not he played a position of desperate need for us as an outside pass rusher who as only a Sophomore broke LSU's All-Time school record for most sacks during a single season and heading into his Junior season of last year was projected as a top 5 draft pick on literally every expert(s) draft board. If not for trouble off the field this kid was a 1st round draft pick. I still wish we took the gamble. To pair him alongside of Khalil Mack, good God did Oakland just receive themselves a 3rd round steal. But yea. Arden Key was the player I was willing to take a gamble and roll the dice on. And he's outright dominating during the Raiders training camp right now. In regards to Nathan Shepherd I still don't know too much. But I'm intrigued. He's down right towering @ 6'4 315 lbs. In comparison Khalil Mack is 6'3 252lbs. Different positions/different style of play etc when compared to Mack, but yes. Nathan Shepherd is built like an animal. He actually looks like a Leonard Williams from what I've seen out there. I love his football story because who's not a fan of an underdog. He's humongous, seems super athletic for a man of his size and freakishly strong. I'm seeing his name more and more often as a training camp standout. I can't wait until I can really see him play I just hope we didn't get this pick wrong while Arden Key was still sitting there for the picking. Last year I wanted #4 Dalvin Cook out of FSU 2nd round. Loved loved loved Cook as an FSU fan. We went Marcus Maye from Florida 2nd round. I turned off the draft type mad. I was pissed. But by season's end Cook went down with I believe an ACL & Maye at times looked like Ronnie Lott out there with ball hawking ability and made a name for himself as being a Jets future gem. I hope that Shepherd can do the same for me as a rookie makes me forget about Arden Key and becomes an NYJ household name.
