It’s a free event, but the wife and I just got tickets to go from the link below. https://www.newyorkjets.com/camp For people who have been to the annual scrimmage: Was it fun? Did you meet players? Did the jets have any merchandise stands? We are looking forward to going, but were also interested in seeing what you all experienced when you went. Thanks!
This is the one pre-season event I try to go to every year. I've gone to Hofstra, SUNY Cortland, and Metlife; and I have my tickets for this year. It's pretty much a marketing opportunity, but I enjoy it. There are opportunities to meet some of the players going on and off the field, but only those that come over to the stands. Sometimes, there are Jet alumni walking around before the event. I said hello to Joe Willie at Hofstra one year. Sometimes they have Jetfest games set up for the kids. The cheerleaders are around taking pictures. One year they had the Vince Lombardi trophy on display, and there is always merchandise from the Jets store. They also have the crew walking around with their clipboards, trying to sell PSLs, and season tickets. If you've never gone, it's worth going.
Thank you sir! Much appreciate the feedback. We are likely going to go. We have a 2 and a half month old baby girl (who will be wearing the green and white). We realize that this will limit some of the things that we can do, but we have taken her to other things and been fine.
As a long-tortured Jets fan and RU football fan and alumnus I'm staying FAR away from this event. I feel if I attend, a cataclysmic event will occur. The Karma of both programs is so bad, combining them could mean doomsday : ) (Only if I'm there)
unlike cortland, which was easy to get to, plenty of parking next to stadium, very low population and traffic, the sites in new jersey have none of that. so, i guess i am back to watching snippets of video on tv, only.....
