Yeah no. I don’t get the funky stripe from shoulder to the shield. Like someone said “let’s put a weird stripe somewhere that no other jersey has and it’ll look unique”. Looks dumb.
It’s a chem trail old man. I’m assuming if the Jets new uniforms don’t resemble a reclining jacket you will be displeased.
Agree, not to shabby. Like the look and agree with those who would prefer one stripe on the helmet and pants. I think I would make the helmet logo a little bigger. Not Bucs big, just more viewable. And I would move the numbers that are on the sleeves up to the shoulder pads. Always like that look. Especially watching games from the stands
Yeah I like it. Interesting take. I always perceived that line from the tail of the Jet to the J to be the contrail within that 80s logo.
I think youre both right.... I dont love it, but I'll say it's prob the best "redo" I've seen so far.... but it can be better At least it's not another "Look at all the cool things photoshop and illustrator can do!" that look like vehicle wraps turned into "uniforms"
The numerals on the sleeve is a concession I think they’ll make to the 1960s/ current unis. Don’t think they’ll move them.
vacations are fun. we can take pictures of our drinks and food and put them on the internet. thats what true happiness is.
So essentially the same uniforms we have now, just only one color of green which is lighter, and maybe a throwback helmet logo on certain weeks? Maybe a white or grey facemask. And for god's sakes no more olive pants. Sign me up! We don't need any major changes. Anything more than that, under the inept supervision of Nike, would just turn Jacksonville-ish real quick. The Jets should keep the traditional look, which is always better.
They gotta keep the number font the same. Nothing wrong with it. Have you seen the weird angular numbers Nike has been ruining perfectly good uniforms with?
I could get behind this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk[/QUOTE] Honestly IMO there is no reason to make a concession to any uniform. Most times when there is a new uniform, a change, not an update we see a totally different look. Dont think too many will look at this uniform and say, nice, they put the numbers on the sleeves (like pretty much every other team) as a concession to the SB team uni.

Besides, it's kid of split 60-40 numbers on shoulders as opposed to numbers on sleeve. Don't feel its necessary to count them and come back with exact percentages.
That's the first alternative to the present helmet that looks good. No green helmets need apply. Lose the taper of the stripe, match the color and go with the with the '98 style uniforms.
