The larger logo is what I really love about this ... it’s bold and aggressive . I think we all agree white face masks should be used . Jerseys, tie a green bandanna from Cabela's around your head and wear a green Fruit of the Loom T-shirt for crissake. Simple, cheap solution. Besides, there aren't enough hillbillies in the tri-state area. Bring it.
Personally, just to tweak jetophile and joe, I think the new Jets unis should have only green pants. LOL
the jets are almost guaranteed to fuck this up. its rare that new uniforms are good. for whatever reason the nfl in general seem to have been producing dogshit uniforms for the past 2 decades. it started with the broncos silly pant stripe, the ravens silly helmet stripe, the panthers entire helmet is an abomination and has been since day 1, the falcons took an absolutely phenomenal uniform and fucked it completely up. and then stuck with it. the seahawks is decent but still has silly shit like the chest half stripe and the funny pattern on the helmet, the brownies have decent unis but once again for some reason decided to have that stupid chest stripe. i dont know who is creating these abortions or sticking with them. look at the titans. its horrible, at least they got rid of the fucking flames on the helmet.... wtf was that even all about? i just have no faith, i hope there are leaks so we dont have to see 1000 mock up uniforms that wont look anything like what they actually do.
I see where you're coming from, though I don't necessarily equate the larger helmet logo with aggression. Tampa made theirs bigger and to me it just looks distorted and not in balance/harmony with the helmet size I believe I've actually seen fan made uni concepts with matte black helmets and the green color rush logo. It doesn't look very good. Kind of like one of those strange ideas the Oregon Ducks would have.
Well fwiw uniforms are one thing we have never fucked up so....first time for everything The Vikings messed their uni's up bad but have since corrected things and now have nice uniforms. It's a nice evolved version of their classics. If we got the same sleek evolved versions of out 80's it would look tremendous. Same with the Lions. Those are the two teams we need to look to when we do our redesign
Have always, always wanted to at least see our end zone with a logo of a Jet painted on with symbols of NYJ within it. Ever since a kid been something I've wanted to see. "Embrace the Jet" so to speak.
I'd like to see the same design/color scheme but with a white helmet, white face mask and then have the JETS writing in Green. So where there's white have green and where there's green have white. Would look classy.
What was wrong with this? They are timeless, leave it and then use the 80's uniforms as an alternate 3 or 4 times a year. I get the comparison to the Ducks with the matte black and color rush green but I really like the logo design on that helmet... wonder how a matte white helmet would look with the green logo.

This logo just needs to be let go...... it reminds me of the shit I used to "design" 25 years ago when my "tools" were a straight edge, some pencils and pens

Unfortunately I feel you are right. We’re going to get some really shitty looking uniforms. Problem is, they are targeting kids. Who do you think is buying all those Oregon uniforms? The new Ohio State uniforms with the black accents? Btw, colleges use these new uniforms as recruiting tools-“hey, look at the new uniform designs, aren’t they dope?” I didn’t particularly love the jerseys from the Klecko era but now I’m thinking the devil you know might be better than the “revolutionary” shit they are going to trot out.
