Its all the same. Jets have a policy with player contracts and Sexton wants something different. This isnt getting done soon IMO.
No one is blaming anyone in the media. They're acting like they didn't start following football in 2017 and understand that this nonsense happens every year. To all teams. Hasn't happened with a Jet pick in years. Fans want to see Darnold and want to blame someone
This not getting done soon should not be an option for either side. Good will is being lost. Darnold is falling behind. This is not sitting well with his teammates you can take that to the bank. And PR wise we will get decimated by the press for same old Jets buffoonery This has to get done within 24hrs.
At the end of the day I blame Darnold.. Sexton doesn’t have a gun, he can sign anytime he wants. Apparently Josh Allen told his guy,”under no circumstances do I want to miss time” -according to my lord and savior . How come Darnold didn’t do the same thing? Again 1-2 days ain’t the end of the world...but if it goes any longer...
