Almost floating away down here in Florida, 35 inches of rain in the last 10 weeks. But I won't complain because a Forest Service site one county over reported around 47 inches in the same time frame.

Was supposed to go to Delaware for bike races today. Saw the weather and ended up in cape cod instead. Looks like a nasty system. Need that track in 6 months, right @CBG ?
I'm waiting for a horror movie where monster alligators during monster Florida rains get flushed out of the Everglades and start washing up on people's lawns. They're monster alligators because of nuclear waste, and start eating people, especially meth heads and other assorted pain in the asses. Please, some novice director, make this happen. Scratch that. Please let it happen for real. Stay safe. From the alligators. ; )
We have "lost" a few meth head to gators already. No need for tropical storms for that, they just go swimming with Goliath when the mood hits. by the way, here is Goliath.
Holy Crap, what a gullet. Forget about drug mules. That thing is packing thousands of pounds of drugs while digesting ten cats and a dog.
looks like we might be awake in a few hours when things get rocking and rollin later,,,,,FJF yes ,,,,,,,,,ps I have looked at long range stuff and early reports say el nino in the winter,,we shall see
Watching the news last night they said this upcoming weekend is supposed to be nice. The next 4 days will be storms and rain for the NY Metro area.
I was flying into JFK yesterday at around 7:30 PM on a 747 when the skies opened up as we were descending. The plane is shaking as we're descending, and a few hundred feet off the ground the engine suddenly revs up and back up we go. "Sorry about that," the pilot says. "That's what we call an overshoot." We landed the next time around, but as soon as we touch down the engines are blasting in reverse and the plane is shaking as he jams on the brakes. "Sorry for the bit of a rough landing there, but the runway is very slick." The Dutch are so polite. (It was a KLM flight from Amsterdam.) I was not amused.
you almost died at least you didn't get sucked out of the window and bashed to death as you flapped in the wind like that woman flying back to Dallas
Ill just say that if I set up power tools in the driveway thunderstorms are bound to show up out of nowhere within 30 minutes
Over 60" of rain this year already for Wilmington, nc….40" more then Seattle, WA. * At 938 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain has already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to3 inches are possible in the warned area. Already 2 inches have fallen in the New Hanover area PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Never drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the road. Flood waters are usually deeper than they appear. Flowing water may be powerful enough to sweep vehicles off the road. A Flash Flood Warning means that dangerous flooding is imminent or occurring. Residents within the warned area should take immediate precautions to protect life and property. && It just doesn't stop....every damn day...never seen anything like this.
I wish we could send all the rain we've had the past 2 days to California.... {as another T-storm starts to develop}
