Ricco said last night that he's not looking for a complete rebuild, will prolly keep Jake and Thor, and thinks a few players could turn the team around. I'm hoping that somehow Ces gets right and we can get a couple of healthy years out of him yet. I was a big fan before he got here, '15 was a great ride.

I don't really follow the money side and player option side of this but hopefully it's not about that. And hopefully it isn't about that with most of the players when it comes to moving them and bringing a few young guys up. But it wouldn't surprise me if the fact that the Coupons are paying him they don't want to let him go and pay him him nothing. Syndergaard does fine in five innings in his first game back and gets the win. It hardly seems fair that he gets four runs of support and decent relief pitching while deGrom gets screwed in start after start, but still nice to see.
