Judging the past 2 years just on stats, given the roster is pretty stupid. While I dont think he's #31 (but I'll be honest, I don't waste my time watching the other bottom feeders of the league, one shitty team is enough) I don't hold him in very high regard. Minimal halftime adjustments, often coaches overly conservative / scared, and clock management that would make Herm Edwards laugh. Now, I hope I'm wrong and he turns out to be a great coach, but I'll consider it more of a surprise based on what we've seen so far....
He has no more excuses. Its time to put up of get out. He should have the team ready to play every game, be physical fit, play smart (key word here - penalties). That takes care of the team... now for him. he better be better at clock management, be mindful of situations and take advantage of them, be more involved in O and if players aren't performing bench them till they get their stuff together. If not I say get out....

If Bowles gets canned after this year, I'd like to get DeFilippo. Was the QB coach in Philly and certainly played a role in developing Wentz. I'm not sure if an experienced HC who isn't a retread will be available.

You pretty much have no idea how bad some of our HCs have been. Then again, most Jets fans can't name a single coach after maybe Parcells and Weeb that they might think were decent. It's what fans do.
Willie McGuinest on NFLN laughed at how fans actually believe HCs make changes at half. That they come up with magical changes that effect games. Coming from someone who played under Belichick and Parcells that's telling.

ranked by who? this list is asinine. Bowles proved last year he is a very capable coach. He took a team that was pegged to be "historically bad" and had them over .500 early on, and NFL Network had him in early running for coach of the year. He is absolutely not the second to worst coach in the NFL that is ludacris. In fact, what he did as a coach last year considering the roster, was actually very admirable.
