This. It was a very odd game and been a very odd series, in general. Harden was awful. Paul was throwing up bad shots that went in. I thought the Warriors moved the ball better and generally got better shots. Houston has now managed to win two games in this series in which they shot poorly, which is just shocking to me. I would have never believed that was possible heading into this series. To me, what killed the Warriors more than anything else last night was the turnovers. 16 of them, mostly unforced and the result of pure sloppiness. Also, can Curry keep his fucking mouthpiece in for like 60 consecutive seconds? Something about the Warriors just really irks me.
idk if it is or not but it wouldn't surprise me with the way the NBA is. If you were some bookie in Vegas, Golden State would be the perfect team to approach. And the way that game ended and especially the reaction of Kerr & some of the players it makes me question it for sure
At this point can you blame the guy if he did? Where else can he go and have a shot to beat one of the 2 alpha west teams?
I'm not going to go down this route at this point, but I will point out that if you think this could be true now, imagine what it will be like next season when people will be legally laying bets on every possession.
Still too early but Rockets Celtics would be a refreshing NBA Finals. Can't take any more Cavs Warriors. Don't like LeBron but it's tiring to see him lose every year with bad teams. I'm just a little worried that Brad Stevens will coach his ass off and somehow pull off the upset. It would go down as the greatest coaching job in history considering he lost Hayward and Irving.
yeah I dont wanna see the Cavs in the Finals, so I am hoping the Cs pull it off (gross me rooting for the Celtics as I am sure you feel the same way). I don't mind seeing the Warriors in the finals again, Cs vs Dubs would be a good matchup as well. Stevens has done a great job and kudos to Ainge for getting Tatum
King James does it again. Forcing a Game 7. It would be nice to see the Kyrie-less Celtics win the series, but I bet the Cavs find a way. Same with the Rockets-Warriors series. You know the Warriors will win Game 6 and find a way in Game 7. Hope I am wrong.
Dude is unreal. I dont think its any comparison, he is the GOAT. look at the rest of the team. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
I find it hysterically funny that people keep ignoring how he routinely does things no one has ever done before from a physical point of view, while also leading good teams to championships and singlehandedly carrying mediocre-at-best teams far beyond where they have any right to be, all because he challenges the notion that the sainted MJ must be the best of all time. To me it's not even a question - LeBron is clearly the best player of all time.
I absolutely agree. Jordan had the greatest rebounder ever, great specialists like Kerr and a really good wingman. Who does LeBron have? Kevin love? Anytime he ever had anyone even remotely competent on the team, theyve dominated. If that Miami team didnt run into perhaps one if the best NBA teams of all time in SA, hed have more rings. I made a football thread on this, and it relates to the NBA too: I don't get why people try to compare generations. It is ridiculous. I would say Michael Jordan is the best player I have seen play, followed by Kobe and Lebron. Curry has impressed me too by actually changing how the game is played. An argument against Lebron would be the East his whole time playing. Very weak. Even this year his journey to the Finals is the Pacers which went 7, the worst #1 seed ever in the Raptors, and now a Celtics team without it's 2 best players. Still, it is impressive watching him literally carry the team. He looks exhausted too while doing it. Total effort.
Do we have any updates on CP3? Edit: Just heard he's more in doubtful side than probable. Fantastic... If we have to sit thru warriors cavs yet again, I honestly probably won't watch a single game.
