I’ll never forget Hack’s first pro series where he just ripped the ball all the way down the field and finished with a gorgeous fade. For a fleeting moment, I thought Mac might’ve outsmarted everyone in the football universe. Then he took the field again.
http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-...istian-Hackenberg-highlights-Preseason-Week-4 Still think he may as well been thrown in after Petty stunk, he could have only stunk as bad as Petty and then we would have all seen it for ourselves. Still he has left now and we can all board the Sam train
Do you feel the need to defend any and all negative comments about Jets players, if so your going to be really busy.
So you agree, that a player who has a bad injury becomes a bust and it's the Gams fault? You want to sign up for that lunacy?
A bust is a bust, makes no difference if it's due to injury or lack of talent. You think it makes a difference to a coaching staff if I guy can't play because he's always injures or because he flat out sucks? Either way they are getting nothing form that player.
That would be totally wrong. A bust is a player who isn't good enough, who never contributed as expected. No one is blamed if a perfectly healthy player blows his knee out. Shit happens. It's not always someone's fault who needs to be blamed. Yes, it makes a difference. Using this failed logic if he died in a plane crash the day after the draft he's also a bust. After all to the coaching staff a dead player is a guy who can't really play. Right? How hard is this to understand.
Maybe in your view, but anytime you pick a player and get shit out of them, that's a bust son. Dress it up anyway you like but the reason behind why you got nothing out of them doesn't much matter, at the end of the day you still got nothing.
No, this is your view. No sane person believes this. Your problem is you haven't grasped the definition of what a bust is. Gholston, Thomas, they were busts. Len Bias wasn't a bust. Difference is Bias or Smith if not for injury or death may have become stars. May have had the talent that goes with their draft spot. How do you get blamed for bad luck? It's not this hard to understand. Stop son
Ok, what about a 2nd round pick who turned out to be a bust vs. a proven young QB given away for a 2nd round pick? .And for what? . To keep two guys happy (i.e. the 41 yr. old QB with the horse-face wife and the owner with the golddigging GF who was not even born when he graduated college)? . I'll take a 26 year old Garoppolo over a 41 year old closet queen with a Peter Pan complex 8 days a week. .
I still vividly remember the day I heard Len Bias died. My first real professional job and someone heard it in the radio and told us. I was looking out a window onto Pine Street. Geez 1986. That NEVER happened to the Celtics.
The main reason they are worthless is the GMs making these picks have blown them big time ! On a website we can go back and forth and debate all we want but we don't get paid to get it right , Mac does. Hack was a reach and possibly a panic pick, if Mac had gotten the pick right I would say Mac is one smart cookie in retro I say he blew it big time .
