Hindsight Poll: Rosen and the three seconds, or Darnold?

Bruh this thread has nothing to do with Eli and you brought him into the conversation to belittle his HOF chances for no reason. That's what I'm pointing out. Considering your username...i have a pretty good theory as to why you did so lol

Just like you shouldn't judge a book by its cover you shouldn't judge a member by their name. Yes I am a Patriot fan but I am also a Jet fan. I am a big Don Maynard fan also. Unlike other Patriot fans I don't hate the Giants or Eli Manning. From what I can tell Eli is a nice guy. There are many Giant players worthy of the HOF, but Eli in my opinion is not worthy and is an over rated QB. Look there are some players I dislike like OJ Simpson and Ray Lewis, but I would never argue about them not going in the HOF.

The Giants in my opinion messed up by not drafting a QB and I think the reason is the over rated nature of Eli. Now if Eli in the next couple of seasons puts up great numbers, I would be willing to change my position, but until then it is what it is.

Whether the Giants not drafting a QB affected the Jets selection is hard to say. But I would love to see the Jets overtake the Giants as New York's football team. I would think many of you are sick and tired of the Giants fans treating the you and the Jets like 2nd class citizens, just my opinion.

I hope the Jets win the big won before Broadway Joe is no longer among us. If they do win the big one, Broadway Joe should present the trophy!

My best friend is a Patriots fan who despises the Jets, but is putting his hatred on hold to root for Darnold to be better than Josh Rosen, who he has a special hatred for.

 

What would he have done if the Pats drafted Rosen?

 

Eli isn't treated like an elite QB by the ny press. I'd bet the national media, the ESPNs and NFLN are the ones who overrate him.

It wasn't so much the benching that pissed fans off. I don't think they would have gone off like they did if the Giants wanted to see what Webb had. It was the idea that Eli was benched for Geno, a guy we all know sucks and one who wasn't going to be a giant this season

I don't know. I would have laughed at him for weeks. Rosen would be great there but that doesn't matter in this context.

The biggest thing we are missing out on is the nickname Jacuzzi Josh

 

A great Patriot was Babe and he played on the Jets Championship team

 

not sure how anyone can vote on this yet. I'd make the trade still and get darnold. need to see how these guys pan out first.

but we also didn't make the trade with hindsight, so i don't know we can ever vote on this to be honest.
