Anyone been to the Taste of the Jets event? I’m thinking about going but I’m not gonna drop that much money just to sit around the players all night... Does anyone know if general admission automatically gets you picures/autographs or if there’s like a separate VIP room for that? Thanks!

Update for future posters... This event was fun. I met Maccagnan, Jamal Adams and Darron Lee and had the chance for a bunch of others but wasn’t honestly that interested with all the great food and open bar. Got pictures from Mac and Adams and Jamal signed a football for me. There were TONS of cool raffle items (that I unfortunately didn’t win) including assistant captain for a coin toss with field passes, coaches club for the first home game and signed memorabilia from Darnold and Leo. There was a live auction with some insane stuff (fly to the Detroit game on the team charter and stay in the team hotel) but those went over $5-6,000 and I just graduated college so didn’t throw my hat in for those haha. Would highly recommend for serious Jets fans. The only bummer was that Darnold had the rookie symposium tonight so he couldn’t make it and I was looking forward to meeting him. Mac stood by the door and greeted/said goodbye to fans for the entire event, he’s a great guy. Was also very open about the draft process which was cool.

I met Mac leaving the Syracuse / ND game at MetLife a few years back. Literally talked football with me for 20 mins — and I broke the conversation off because the wife wanted to go. Very nice man.
I thought it was nice that he was greeting people at the door but I was stunned when I walked out and still saw him and his wife there. Very genuine. And to your point he was talking in depth about the team with anyone that walked up to him.
That's awesome. Usually guys in that position are stuck up and don't have time for anyone. That's cool to hear. Liking Maccy boy more and more.
Ha, no worries. There is no-one on planet earth worse than me. I got you beat by a hundred miles. Look up the word techno-idiot in the dictionary. You'll see a picture of my stupid face, no definition necessary, just a phonetic description on how to pronounce it. Sounded like a great time. I still keep getting invited to events that are 'only available to PSL holders' - which is a complete lie, because I never owned one - on top of the fact that I dropped my season tickets this year. Yep, the tickets had been in my family for 55 years. Sigh. I always thought the cruise thing sounded like a blast, but I never had enough disposable income to throw overboard (heh) whenever it came around. Then again, if I had managed to scrape enough shekels together, knowing my luck and the Jets being the Jets, they'd pull off the greatest trick play in Jets history at my expense. "We deeply apologize. Everyone involved is unable to appear. They are locked up in their cabins paralyzed in bed from seasickness and can't even lift their heads off the pillow.
