Now I remember him. I remember all game thinking "who the F is Henry Anderson??" Dude was mauling us.
Overkill. Like you said it has yet to reproduce the results in Zona and no need to add 3 DL when you have so many areas to address. I like Anderson, smart, tough Stanford grad but we still need an edge rusher in the worst way because those are the real QB disruptors. I wish we would've taken a flier on Okoronkwo. Think he'll be a steal.
I knew it was some kind of joke, just didn't know what. I was saying that it was strange that Mac cut them now before OTA and/or TC.
I'm sort of with you, yet I can see it the other way too. Overkill in this case is more about quantity. A 3rd, 6th, and 7th isn't really bad from a value perspective. However, I definitely agree about Okoronkwo. He would have been a nice add for this defense. As far as DT goes, it feels to me like they aren't just seeking starters, but a full rotation, which makes sense considering the position. If these guys bust, this will be quite easy to criticize concerning our other needs. We'll see.
Same here, could only think of the judge from Night Court. Hope he's got some Harrison Phillips (this year's Stanford DL draftee) left in him. .
Yeah I see what you're saying and I agree that's probably the rotation they're building out. I just wish this damn team would grab a potential impact edge rusher for once. Especially when a guy is available in the end of the 5th round. I hope they really utilize most of these DL in the rotation to help wear down opposing O Lines.
He is good but injury prone. Only 3 years in the league, 2 major injuries. I dont expect a big impact myself but it would be nice. Between him and the 2 big boys Macc drafted, at least 1 of them has to be a solid contributor on the D-line this year I would think
Think the team will wrap a club around his neck the way they typically do with a players hand when injured? He could be the most stiff necked player we've ever seen.
I would imagine there should be some sort of padding ... one of those collar looking things at least see how he plays with it on, and find out if he needs it or not down the road.
Why stop there? Jets should hire an artist to make it look a little more menacing, then give him a hoodie like when James Jones from the Packers wore one. Now we are in the big leagues
