He was the guy I was looking for. During the game against Georgia he was all over the field ....yet again no one to rush the QB
True about Enunwa, but I wouldn't rule him out. Pryor had a bad year last year, but was very good the year before. He doesn't blow. That's just ridiculous.
Great thread supposed to be about the trade of our 7th for Anderson. Buy Hey let trade for Shane ray too .we need a edge.
This guy is very injury prone, but the price isn't anything to be concerned with so a good risk to take.
Yes good trade. This guy will be a rotational starter for Jets so good value for 7th value pick. Will be a fan favorite type like Devito.
Colts Twitter seems to universally hate this trade. I guess it had scheme it’s nice we could get some value back from the Colts. They got us in that trade it hurt especially seeing Rosen fall but glad we can make something work for us a little more as opposed to them this time around. PFF loves him too but is injury prone. Good move by Mac we need more talent on this line again. I love the Shepherd selection from yesterday so potentially to get a starter so he isn’t forced to play right away would only benefit everyone.
We should have rolled the dice on Arden Key in the 3rd. Top 10 talent with undisclosed red flags. I think we hit such a home run with Darnold that we could have taken a huge risk vs HUGE reward on Key. My man was an absolute stud as a sophomore in 2016
I think I read about this somewhere. Maccagnan was saying they’re working on a deal with Doctor Frankenstein to become an Advisor of some sort. Assuming he wouldn’t be able to commit to joining the staff full-time.
Macc said in the presser last night that if HA fails the physical the Jets will receive the Colts 2019 7th round pick.
That cost him half a season and could have cost him his life. https://www.indystar.com/story/spor...injury-couldve-threatened-his-life/920824001/
He was kicked in the throat during a game and needed emergency surgery. That was what ended his last season. He's lucky to be alive.
This team taking all these DL is a joke. I don't care what scheme you are running there is no excuse for not drafting OL and an Edge Rusher especially with all the talent left on the board in the late rounds.
The point of having the DL is to apply enough interior pressure that when the team does blitz, it becomes extremely chaotic for the offense. A weak interior DL would allow teams to quite easily defeat the blitz. It is why they put so much emphasis on it. Most teams depend on a single elite pass rusher to rack up sacks. Bowles wants press man corners and strong interior disruptors in order to generate chaos from multiple positions. It worked very well for him in Arizona but the Jets have yet to reproduce that level of play.
I didn't recognize the name at first, but now I totally remember this guy from early in his career. Colts were bringing up a promising young Dline, with Anderson being a key piece. Played tough against Fitz and the Jets. He kinda fell off the radar by missing a lot of time to injuries. Health is definitely a concern, but the price was right. This guy will no doubt be the starter if he can stay healthy. I also like big smart lineman from Stanford. good trade.
Yeesh. I recall hearing about it now. It's akin to dirtbag murderers stranglulating people to death, hyoid bone broken. This was just acute quick smash. What a freak thing. Reminds me of Richard Zednik in some odd way, although Zednik was cut open. A lot of hawkey players have gotten blasted in the throat, let alone getting their necks sliced open by skates. Yes, we will always be the Romans of the Decadence.
