I get the chip on the shoulder but sounds like some scripted 14 year old's speech....and memorized..lol "...Clearly better than." http://www.nfl.com/m/share?p=/video...sen-says-he-was-pissed-off-to-go-10th-overall
Let him do his thing. People gave Rodgers shit for his attitude as well. I'm glad he won't be in the AFC East and I think he is going to do really well in Arizona as they have already have talent around him. He also won't have to contend with the weather as much as Allen who I think is going to really have a tough time in Buffalo.
First person I thought of as well. No one will care in a day or two; no one will remember until it's part of some cheesy SNF/MNF/TNF intro. He'll be a joke no matter what if he's a bust, only difference is that if he's a stud then this'll get baked into a nauseating media narrative about his drive and motivation to win, that we'll have to listen to for the next 5-10 years.
He talks too much...30 seconds already got on my nerves Big Doctors kid ..had Golden Spoon in mouth from day one.. I had BM ahead of him anyone ..plus Sam talented/humble
he's a bitch. He fell a couple picks not a whole round or anything and he's cryin like that??! give me a break slide ur tampon in Rosen, ur gonna need it when the rest of the league makes it a priority to knock u on ur ass
Well hopefully he'll get another chance to prove himself against his rival Sam in the Super Bowl one day
The guy needs to just learn to shut up and get to work. Everytime he talks he just does damage. When he goes to Arizona he doesen't necessarily need to be humble but it would be a good start to try to shut up and earn respect as he seems to have exceptionally talented at making people dislike him. that being said he is still only a child. He is only 21 and has plenty of time to mature. Hopefully by the time he matures he has not wasted away his career.
another reason why this is quite a bitch move. He & his agents basically told the Browns not to take him. He only "fell" to 10 and the browns had 2 of the top 10 picks. Some of them didn't need QBs. So really only like 3 teams passed on him. he's a bitch
I like Rosen, but I did not like this interview at all...He sounds like a brat and jealous. Make the other 9 teams regret the choice? Like bro calm down...It's the same thing as when guys get drafted and they immediately say "we winning the super bowl"
All I care about is that Rosen isn't on the Pats or Bills. He's a special talent and will be motivated. If he can just stay healthy and keep his attitude in check, he's going to be a great QB for years to come. Arizona is probably a great spot for him since he's used to the California weather.
He probably interviewed badly, that's a big factor in the draft. As I said, I have no issue with a chip. That wasn't a chip. That felt more like entitlement talk...-jmo
I was surprised he was still giving extensive interviews just a week before the draft. I still think he is the most likely success out of the QB's in this draft but he sure made it hard on a lot of teams evaluation processes.
That's how I heard it. That wasn't competition. That was whining. He really wants to emulate Brady in the worst way.
This isn't a bad quality. If he follows it up with the work required to become a great QB and win games it'll be a footnote. If he doesn't win he'll be Jay Cutler. NFL players will put up with a lot to follow the top dog but they won't to follow a yappy mongrel.
His first impression is going to matter to his teammates more than your run of the mill draft pick. I think your analogy is spot on.
Ultimately none of it really matters, but I just don’t understand why a supposedly smart kid (who was my first choice for the Jets, by the way) would deliberately come off as such a whiny bitch. As others have noted, the whole “9 mistakes” is moronic, since only 3 teams actually passed on him. Not only is this throwing it in the face of the other QBs, but how do you think Chubb feels about being called a mistake? Do you really want to make yourself a target this way? He’s a kid going into a locker room of men, and he’d be a lot better off keeping his head down and his mouth shut until he actually accomplishes something.
