I have just consulted Google and I think I can, but it looks disgusting.

Semantics indeed. Indeed, a year before that draft Geno was considered a likely first rounder. Probably based on his natural talent. But once he performed more and was more-thoroughly scouted his value dropped. I think that, by the time of the draft, Geno was widely presumed to be a second or third or even fourth round talent. The Jets were thought by many to have reached for him.
Is my memory of the whole thing. By the time he became a Jet he was a very talented project.

My memory of it is Geno Smith having a face like a smacked arse for not being selected in round one, not the actions of a man widely presumed to be third or fourth round talent.
Not the best source but his wiki page agrees.

Anyway, this isn't the time or the page for it, this is for welcoming Sam Darnald and Geno Smith is now a just a bad memory lol

Darnold vs. McCown. 1 on 1. First to 21 wins the starting QB job?

We could have had Rosen and kept our entire draft .Hopefully this isn't Sanchez 2.0 being that they both played for the same school.Im excited but at the same time how long is this guy gonna sit?I hope he does enough to win the job and starts week one. When you draft a guy that high he shouldn't sit for a year

NFL network Shawn O’Hara says the Jets were the biggest loser. Primarily because Darnold is not ready and because they didn’t build picks around him. He agrees that the Jets could have got a decent QB and kept 2 2nd rounders and build 2 guys around the QB.

Charley Casserly gave that stank face look at Shaun like -"Are you a dumbass?"

And then Casserly said..."All you Giants fans are the same" hahaha

Josh McCown: "The best thing I can do is look back in 5 years and Sam Darnold is in the Pro Bowl."

Can we hire McCown after he retires?

Yep Charlie wasn’t thrilled with his comment. I however understand both sides of the argument. It is what it is and hope Darnold is the real thing. Will root for the kid, same for Teddy Bridgewater.

I don't know which is worse: being a terrible analyst or showing your Giants colors and trashing the Jets for no reason. Either way: pretty embarrassing commentary. It's okay to say you disagree with the pick or prefer a different QB, but biggest loser in the draft is comical.

Haha, thanks! Pretty cool. The like feature was a good addition to the board.
Speaking of likes, how can you not like Darnold? Class act on and off the field! Loved seeing those photos today. The fans who are not happy with the pick, soon will be. No doubt in my mind.

You guys remember the famous or infamous gif from the Sanchez draft...with those 2 brothers shaking their head at the pick. That was Gary V a successful entrepreneur actually in that gif.

In actuality the Giants are the laughingstock drafting a running back second when they have holes everywhere else
