Yes it would have. Nothing would have changed with the 1,2 and 4 picks. Someone else would have traded to 3 for Darnold.
Anyone who dislikes this selection is on crazy pills. My number one QB for about a year now. Holy shit.....
The same thing was posted about Geno, and Sanchez, and Milliner, and on and on and on. It's not hard. Watch the games, understand the teams and schemes, and you can tell who has it and who doesnt have it.
MAJOR concerns I have with Darnold: 1) carries the ball like Geno Smith. 2) throws interceptions like Mark Sanchez. 3) can't hack pressure situations in big games.h I'm not impressed with this. Hope with all my heart and soul to be wrong. We'll see.
Have you ever seen a QB machine suddenly not turn the ball over? He doesn't have it. He was on an all star team in a weak conference and he turned the ball over 22 times in one season. This is a disaster pick. Total joke franchise. Go look up my old posts. Every draft. Hated Coples, Milliner, Geno, that Louisville Safety. Go look it's all there.
Never even thought he would available. As Golden S stated....sure the turnovers have to be a concern...have to be. Still....has to also be fixable...especially the pocket fumbles. You can teach that...you cant teach accuracy which is why the Bills did another horrible job. Hey...you roll the dice...and they got the guy everyone had the best qb on the board. For tonight, lets pretend at least they got the guy.....THE GUY.
