Mayfield. He's too damn accurate and durable to pass up. Rosen's concussion history and immobility in the pocket are too much to look past.

I have to think the answer is the Jets will draft Mayfield. If Mayfield is there and Darnold has already been taken if not I think they will go with Darnold. Rosen if neither is there but I suspect that Rosen has been removed from a lot of teams draft boards. A legitimate question, is Rosen still on the Jets draft board? I cannot imagine that he has been removed from the Jets board as that would mean Allen would be our 3rd choice. I cannot imagine trading up for the possibility of taking Allen. If Mayfield and Darnold are gone it would sadly not be surprising to see the us go with Allen.

    Rosen has my vote.

Though I will say, I think I'll be slightly upset deep down if Baker is there and he's not the pick.

    Damn man, I'm SO anxious.

I hope that's the choice that Mac has to make. I hope that Darnold, Allen or Allen, Darnold go 1-2 in the draft.

Yeah, we really needed a safety with that pick. I liked both Adams and Hooker.

I guess with this regime, I would say the first round picks, I agree with Mac. Can't say the same about the rest of the drafts.

Could have taken Connor Cook in round 4 instead of Hack in RD2, Cook still threw 1 more TD pass then Hack ever did. But 1 pick fair enough.

Who’s the last big 12 qb to ever be more than serviceable? Serious question because I can’t think of one...Dalton doesn’t count

    Troy Aikman? Marc Bulger?

    Recently probably Sam Bradford.

    Why doesn't Dalton count?

They were in the mountain west when he was there. Also considering Bradford was the top pick he’s been pretty underwhelming

It's game day folks. We've spent months debating, and now one of these kids gets their day in the spotlight as their dreams come true. Hopefully, the one we call our quarterback, whomever that may be, helps our fan dreams come true. Do this Jets. Erase the negative history. Lead us to a glorious future of consistent winning playoff football. The time has come.

In hindsight, had we taken Watson last year we would be set at QB. And this year we could have taken Derwin James who I think is going to be the next star safety in this league

I hope it’s Rosen, but think it’ll be Mayfield.

How pathetic and ridiculous discounting a player just because of the conference he played in! It's not like he played in the Mountain West or some rinky dink conference like that or never played against any good teams/programs.

Not necessarily. Even if Watson stays healthy this season and plays as well as he did in the part of the season he played last year, it doesn't mean that he would have played well in our offense or in the northeast. I don't think his arm is strong enough for November-January in the northeast.

Also every smart die hard Jets fan will seppuku so that would really be an effective way to create a big loss of life with a draft pick.

It’s not so much the conference itself but the gimmick offenses and zero defense

Derwin is gonna be good, but I think Adams has Derwin beat in terms of football IQ. Adams calls out the offense plays at times, hes done so since college. Derwin is a beast tho.

Also, I will take Rosen over Watson.
