This was a great post btw. You totally called all this chatter about Mayfield going one. Now maybe it is because they actually want him, but maybe it is just to scare Jets and/or another team. 2 days until we know for sure.

Do you have any idea what it would cost for the bills to go from 12 to 2 in a QB heavy draft? Forget the 1s and 2s they have now, that's just the starting point.
Terrified as well. If this happens the Jets deserve the brunt of the fans rage. We told them Geno is crap, we told them Hackenberg is hot garbage. Now we're telling them about Allen. They need to get the message.
If Mayfield goes 1, I can't see the Jets passing on Rosen and Darnold. The only bad outcome is taking Allen.
I am hoping and praying Allen/Mayfield goes 1, Barkley goes 2 and Sammy Boy Darnold comes to the NYJ.
The Bills could move to #5 using their first 2 picks this year and then move to #2 using the #5 and next years 1st. The Giants get either Barkley or Chubb at 5 in that scenario so a decent move for them. I fully expect Buffalo to be in play for the 2nd pick, we’ll see.
Not so fast ..at 4 the Browns can take Barkley or Chubb...so the Giants dont care?? Barkley is rated the BEST player
Darnold dropping would be a gift to the Jets.....the Giants won't have any of it though. They are going BPA and he's the only QB worth going there based on the mixture of production, ability and potential. On Thursday our pick will either be Rosen or Mayfield. We will have to adjust everything for Baker's unique skillset, so that could take a couple years.

haha what kind of "report" is that from Schefter..!! he's really going out on a limb there. his "sources" tell him that the Browns are "considering" mayfield but there are no guarantees. It's hard to be wrong when you give yourself so many cop outs
Based on a few things I’ve heard the browns pick could come as early as today. Someone prove me wrong
lol..prove you wrong? That would be about the 18th time in the last 20 years that teams with the first pick started negotiating a few days before the draft. Of course most of them happened when 1st picks actually got paid a lot of money.
Best possible outcome by far. They won’t take Johnny football 2.0 though no chance in hell they make that mistake again... in fact Johnny actually was better that Mayfield in collage... that’s just scary
