Good idea by J-biz, but it's a bit like having a huge party and making everyone stand in a circle with everyone talking at once. These kind of threads aren't too great either. But I guess it's better than the alternative.
Yes, I want to experience this draft in real time. I will be disconnecting from all devices when the draft is on. I'm going to be sitting there hoping and hoping and hoping the Giants don't trade down and feel the drama when the Jets are on the clock.

Good thread. The wish will be granted. I will do following things starting tonight. Tell me if you agree. Again all of this will be done TONIGHT. 1) Move all Draft Threads from Jet Main Forums to Draft Forums. 2) Start and sticky an Official Jets Draft Thread on Main Jets Forum and not allow any other threads on the Jets forum. This thread will remain open between now and Jets make the pick. Any member who spoils the pick will be banned for a month and this will be on thread title. Please report any new thread and I will move to draft forum between now and draft. 3) On Draft Night I will start and sticky a 2018 NFL Draft thread on the Main Jets Forum so other picks can be discussed. 4) Once Jets pick is announced, I will change the Official Jets Draft Thread title to Welcome to Jets Baker Mayfield and merge every new thread with the Welcome to Jets thread. But these limitations are only for Draft Night. Next day, it is business as usual. This is not a communist board and we can't block people to start threads. Any thread that you think is trolling or not worthy please use REPORT button so we can take care of business. All good?
so can we make a thread for each player picked this way there isn't cross discussion? shoulnd't be a big deal since we only have so many picks and really only 1 more high one (3rd rounder) that won't be until late Friday night

Why not just start a thread called "With the 3rd pick in the 2018 draft the NY Jets select Hayden Hurst, TE South Carolina". They haven't picked a TE in round 1 in 10 years, they're about due ; ) he can join the long and non-distinguished list including Johnny Mitchell, Kyle Brady, Anthony Becht and Dustin Keller... Only the fucking Jets..
I will have my phone down during the draft anyhow. I have YouTube TV and I notice there is about a few second delay between regular cable. I will get Yankee game alerts about 20 seconds BEFORE it happens on my t.v.

I'll be at a bar and setting down my Phone after Pick 2 until pick 3 is announced. its the easiest way to avoid spoilers, but i like Brooks ideas for that night.
