Johnsons aren't picking the QB, no way Brook. If they can't let the staff decide the best QB for the team, then the Jets are in trouble. Perhaps you mean the owner wont let them pick another position outside of QB?

Yes, it's TOTALLY far fetched!!! He didn't trade up to #3 giving up 3 second round picks to take a freaking OG, CB or an edge rusher that isn't really a fit for our D alignment. It's not gonna happen. If Mac suffers a stroke and makes such a stupid move, he should be fired immediately and not even allowed to finish the draft. I wouldn't even let him back in One Jets Drive to clean out his office/desk. Security would do that for him. He would never work in the NFL again if he did that. He and the Jets would be the laughing stock of the sports world and rightfully so.

Don't worry NC when the smoke clears and the pick is Mayfield he may hear a mixed reception (I think he's at home for this) But all his life the kids been proving himself ..so I am sure the NFL will be NO different
There is a better chance of the Jets running out of time, 17 times in a row, and not figuring out who to pick until the 20th pick, than their trading up to three not to draft a QB.
99% of fans want and know we're taking one, it's just the lingering Barkley and Chubb homers that remain deluded.
This is the reason why I just can't see it. You can't make this trade unless there are three QBs that you are happy with. If they don't take a QB Macc will be admitting that he completely screwed up the most important draft the Jets have had in years (if not decades), pretty much sealing his doom.
