Strange how things have been completely silent since the Hankins visit. I wonder if they are still trying to iron out a deal, or what's going on. Visits don't usually last an entire week.
I wonder what's up with Hankins...is he holding out for another team to make an offer, or are both parties waiting to get a deal done after the draft? I think he'd be a good fit for the Jets.
Good question. I don't see how waiting until after the draft would help him. Teams with DL needs will just fill it through the draft and he will be left with a lower deal from whichever team still needs DL help after. I think he signs before.
Might be we just didn't like him..after all he was released by the colts a year after signing him to a 3 year deal..maybe he is out of shape.
his agents probably told him to wait until after the draft to sign with someone. -at that point teams always reassess their roster and needs and he may be needed more. Our Jets included, he or frostee Rucker could still sign here, they are just doing their veteran due diligence

A team that was considering him could have a player drop to them in the draft and lessen the need for him too. That's the more likely scenario, don't you think? I'm guessing he's asking for more money than teams think he's worth. It's not just the Jets who have let him be.
