Trust me I agree lol, Just pointing out that there is a lot of information and most of it not great this time of year.
The same amount that work for all the media outlets that are making all these projections. None. How many GMs have confirmed to have a 2nd round grade on Mayfield?
That's a lazy post. I literally stated I have watched his games. I haven't watched them all but I've definitely seen over half. Not ONCE did I feel he was anything special. Nice try doh..
Why the Mayfield hate? He has the best stats and is clutch. He'd be a lock for the 1st pick if he were 6'5".
Who is saying he is the top QB in this draft???? I haven't read anything or seen anyone proclaim that. It's more fluff and cautious optimism from the things I've read and seen. Advanced Stats... Sorry but stats don't do anything for me. As they are often times misleading. Especially when you factor in so many different variables at the college level.
I think PFF is ass most of the time. I don't find them extremely credible. He probably won't make it pass the 5 slot, that definetly doesn't mean he is a Top 5 player by any means.
Usually if you can't see it, it's because it just isn't there. I don't see anything special with Mayfield, if we pick him, it's very Jet like and I will be livid. Only player I would absolutely flip my shit over, in the worst way possible.
You may feel I'm lazy, but you've obviously missed the past 6 months. There are people who don't see it and that's fine.
Mayfield has a powerful arm and god given accuracy. If you don't anything special with him you're being willfully ignorant
When Mayfield throws 50+ plus yard tight spiral frozen ropes and perfectly places them in his receivers hands in stride I just can't help but think about how unspecial that is
Absolutely. And it is great to hear how inconsequential the loss of Baker Mayfield is to Oklahoma. I'm sure they were tired of him freeloading on the talent around him while only contributing embarrassment. https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...-after-baker-mayfield-kyler-murray/532630002/
Allen is a late 1st rounder (not a high pick like people suggest) based on his arm and size alone. Not worth the 3 pick by any means. only rosen and darnold are really worth us taking that high
That's an over evaluation of his skill set. When I've watched BM throw the deep ball, it definitely wasn't always accurate. Most of the time it was to receivers that were wide open and even then, he made it a much tougher catch than it needed to be for the WR. He would often throw it was too high or behind. Most times, this is what I seen. So I have a very hard time seeing Mr. Accurate being that accurate in the NFL, where tight windows are EVERY play, not just some plays like College. I have a hard time seeing those "tight spiraled ropes" with his little bitty hands trying to hold onto the rock in all the cold and nasty conditions he will constantly be exposed to. I have a hard time seeing his massive EGO being a good fit for the NY/NJ area. This is exactly where EGO goes to die, if you're too immature to handle it. I think he is extremely immature and that should concern everyone that is a Jet fan. We won't have a shot like this again for awhile. I wish people put more stock In being in such a prime position to actually do something amazing for this team in the #3 slot that we are in. Yet, all this Mayfield hype is happening. Sigh
exactly what i have seen as well. I think the "mayfield is accurate" crowd is only look at his completion % and not the actual throws
