I'm generally all about BPA in drafts, but QBs are the one exception, IMO. They are indeed over valued, but are usually the most important position on the team.
Leonard Williams and Chubb would be hella awesome if Darnold and Rosen drop. Too bad we sold all of our capital to move up when in reality we could have taken Chubb at 6; then trade back up for a QB.
Confidence that he will pick a QB, yes, not on who. I said I hope Mac does the opposite of what he thinks he should. If they don't pick a QB then its over for me
Chubbs 3 cone is pretty bad, I bet if we take him we can all look forward to the classic nyj 4-6 sack max, Chubb would have barely been a top 20 pick in last years draft. He is good but he is being propped up by a super weak pass rushing class
If the Jets take Chubb consider me done as a fan. I know that sounds ridiculous, but trading up to draft another defensive end would probably be icing on the cake for me. I doubt it will happen, but this team always makes me nervous.
And so we can see all threads overreacting to our pick at 3....it’s Groundhog Day aro7nd here. There are people, who hated the Adams pick last year...
Allen has the lowest ceiling out of the 4. He is the most inaccurate and has the worst stats of all of them in the weakest conference of all of them. Even sitting for 2 years might not help his mechanics. Anyone team can find a bazooka armed QB. In fact, we have one on the roster right now that can't even get off the sidelines.
If we wasted draft picks to trade up for Mayfield, McCagan should be fired the same day as the draft. Would be the worst move in Sports history.
lol then for 5 months you have to hear people complaining about not getting the QB THEY wanted us to draft and why the one we did draft stinks
yes because Mayfield has shown us that he's complete garbage right? Yall just say anything that doesn't fit your own agenda... TBH Rosen and Mayfield are the only 2 QB's that even look like they belong in the discussion of top QB prospects. Darnold and Allen don't even look better than Lamar Jackson on film.
