Good. The multiple greens in the home jersey are awful. They need an alternate uniform (80s throwback would be nice) and need to improve the green on both the home and away unis.
the jets jerseys and helmets are just fine. Darron Lee should learn how to play football instead of dabbling in fashion
I thought they fixed the patches issue last year. It was a shitty Nike problem anyway not anything to do with the aesthetic design
A deep green & black would look good... like the old Hawaii Warriors uniforms.... also change the helmet... that IS A Must.
I'm more interested in having that invisible man play defense on the JETS..... it may take some serious $$, but imagine if you could convince him to play naked in the backfield.... knocking WRs off their routes, tripping them in the open field? endless possibilities.
They need to implement something, anything, resembling an actual "jet" into the unis. Even if it's just the old logo on the chest or something.
His poor play on the field makes sense now. While other players are studying film and the playbook, Lee is doodling what the next Jets jerseys should look like.
We're overdue for some new jerseys IMO. Our random alternates (color rush and NY Titans) jerseys aside, we haven't done a rebrand since like what, 97/98?
Yeah, 1998. Nothing wrong with keeping your jerseys though. Steelers, Cowboys, Packers, Raiders, Colts, all have classic looks. I don't mind the Jets having it. However, after the last 7 seasons, drafting a new franchise QB, a new look could be a good thing.
Doesn't even need to be a huge change. flip back to kelly green and keep the uniforms 2 tone (none of this two shades color rush crap) and maybe flip the colors on the helmet and switch to the 70s/80s logo, leaving the current one on the chest of jersey. Basically imagine our current unis in kelly with the helmets from the 70s. Creates a fresh look but celebrates the past as a new era begins.
Update their uniforms, OK. Here's an idea. The Jets should suit up in burlap bags and hop across the field. Yes, ugly; but it would increase our winning percentage by 50%. And I'm shooting low on this.
