I learned a lot in this winter thread. Truly. I learned being persistent from CBG. I learned being humble from you and Jay. I learned being kind from Matt Robinson 17. I learned being wise from Cman. You guys are great teachers.
You guys give me too much credit,,,heres the deal you got the guy who this thread is named after sitting in the surf up to his knees in the usually warm Carolinas ,with not a care in the world , then you have his cohort FJAY in between meets with his kids and vacations and moves = too damn busy to post about the freaking weather --->so somebody had to pick up the slack and in the meantime try and break Jonny and Brook and companies balls while guesstimating weather and informing others Not too many years from now by the time I can remotely guess correctly or have a handle on how this weather crap actually works my wife will move me down South and I will be like the Jayster , far removed from the action and missing it tremendously.
FYI Friday morning = pretty stupid cold for many and well North n West might see ice or snowflakes-------ps nor easter next week still on the table yada yada maybe the draft gets rained out ?
I'm flying down to Atlanta for a wedding next Friday, so I'm not looking for any problems then. Right now they seem to be talking about Wednesday being bad, which I can handle.
Right now its looking wet for either Tuesday and Friday or Wednesday and Saturday-----enjoy the weekend all
enjoy today ,,,,,tomorrow we will need a kayak and galoshes <------ did I even spell that correctly ?
Ok...kids. Was going to post this in the JET forum but figured to keep it to our gang. IM AM GIDDY after watching the film on Darnold....good and bad. Saw the Utah game in which he fumbled I believe 3 times? and then came back to throw a td pass in the final quarter. The kid...what great vision. What truly impressed me the most about him is that when you watch college highlights of qbs, you expect many wide open completions and its tough to judge. Not the case with his highlights tapes. He had extremely young receivers...and man...what incredible passes..true pro type passes that will be needed. His pocket awareness is SUPERB. His lock on one receiver one way and then finding someone on the other side is outstanding. It will probably be a rough go the first year....but maybe not. I can say this is the most impressive pick the Jets have made for as long as I have followed them and that's 5 decades now. Again....impressive to me...my opinion and I'm sure many or some may not be on board....but I take highlight tapes of college players with a grain of salt...but I just couldn't find the salt with this kid. In my very humble opinion...finally...finally.....finally.
yeah they got a guy to work with, now it's time NOT to screw this one up!! Don't Sanchize-Joba-rules-FUBAR this guy like everyone else they touch
